The State Department has ignored calls for the recognition of the Pontian and Hellenic Genocides, and we all saw how they reacted to the International Court of Justice calling the Israeli attacks on Gaza genocidal. But they are ready to introduce a resolution at the UN Assembly soon to recognize the massacre of 8,000 Bosnians in Srebrenica in the middle of the 1995 war as “Genocide.” The double standards are unbelievable!
At a time when the Mitsotakis government failed to put on the table with Erdogan (during their recent meeting) the Pontian and Hellenic Genocides of Asia Minor in the early 20th century, it seems eager to “help” Kosovo even if this will surely hurt our case in Cyprus. As we saw, Dora Bakoyianni, Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s sister and former PM, led the effort to allow Kosovo into the Council of Europe and open the door further into European institutions. Such a policy can only be characterized as treasonous regarding Greece’s interests.
But the puppets who lead Greece – and particularly the Mitsotakis family, are hell bent to obey every directive coming out of the State Dept. At this moment, the American establishment is seething as they are losing painfully in Ukraine and on all other fronts. Their main goal is to create problems for Russia in all neighboring countries that traditionally ally with her. They tried in Kazakstan and Belarus, but they failed. Now, they are attempting a “color revolution” in Georgia but also failing. They are trying to control Hungary and now Serbia in many ways – recognizing the Srebrenica genocide is one of them.
Needless to point out, the Turkish and German governments – YES, THE HISTORIC GENOCIDAL MANIACS!! – have their fingerprints all over this motion. They ignore the Pontian Genocide, but they want to recognize the Bosnian!! We are hoping that this time the Greek PM will do the right thing and he will not undermine the few true friends that Greece has in the Balkans…

Vucic: The UN resolution on Srebrenica will cause an uproar
The resolution, the president of Serbia said that the US and his country do not agree on this issue either and that he is particularly worried about it, because he knows what it means and how it will disrupt relations in the region.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vocic, met today with the Assistant Secretary of the Office of European and Eurasian Affairs of the State Department, James O’Brien. Speaking about the resolution on Srebrenica, the president said that the US and Serbia do not agree on this issue either, and that he is particularly concerned about it because he knows what it means and how it will disrupt relations in the region.
The resolution recognizes the 1995 massacre of approximately 8,000 Muslims by the Serbs in Srebrenica as genocide.
“Don’t forget, it was made as a decision of one nation against another within BiH. Do not forget that this matter has been transferred from the Security Council to the General Assembly illegally, because the matter belongs to the Security Council, not the General Assembly. Do not forget that this topic was raised, look at the miracles, on a round anniversary, very important, 29th anniversary, you heard that 29th anniversaries are usually the most important in the world, and it was started only for the 29th anniversary and it is not directed against the Serbs of course , but that’s how it is. We Serbs did not understand it that way and we will oppose it in the UN as much as we can,” Vucic said.
“And what is my obligation both when we lose in the Council of Europe and when we officially lose in the UN… When that happens, we should raise our heads and fight for Serbia’s economic progress,” he said.
Asked if talks with US officials could affect Serbia’s intention to prevent the adoption of the document, Vucic said his country would fight hard.
“I say everything directly, I don’t say everything I had in my conversation with O’Brien, but I say everything that is important to the public to my face. I cannot hide how difficult it is for us to do what is happening. When it comes to the fight for resolution, we know that when America holds up two fingers, one finger, it has 70 countries on its side. We are alone and we will oppose them on the issue of the resolution, as much as we can with all our strength”, he concluded.

Βούτσιτς: Το ψήφισμα του ΟΗΕ για την Σρεμπρένιτσα θα προκαλέσει αναταραχή
Οπρόεδρος της Σερβίας Aλεξάνταρ Βότσιτς συναντήθηκε σήμερα με τον Βοηθό Γραμματέα του Γραφείου Ευρωπαϊκών και Ευρασιατικών Υποθέσεων του Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ Τζέιμς Ο’ Μπράιεν. Μιλώντας για το ψήφισμα για τη Σρεμπρένιτσα, ο πρόεδρος είπε ότι οι ΗΠΑ και η Σερβία δεν συμφωνούν ούτε σε αυτό το θέμα και ότι ανησυχεί ιδιαίτερα για αυτό, επειδή γνωρίζει τι σημαίνει και πώς θα διαταράξει τις σχέσεις στην περιοχή.
Το ψήφισμα αναγνωρίζει ως γενοκτονία τη σφαγή περίπου 8.000 μουσουλμάνων από τους Σέρβους το 1995 στη Σρεμπρένιτσα.
«Μην ξεχνάτε, έγινε ως απόφαση ενός έθνους εναντίον ενός άλλου εντός της Β-Ε. Μην ξεχνάτε ότι αυτό το θέμα έχει μεταφερθεί από το Συμβούλιο Ασφαλείας στη Γενική Συνέλευση παράνομα, επειδή το θέμα ανήκει στο Συμβούλιο Ασφαλείας, όχι στη Γενική Συνέλευση. Μην ξεχνάτε ότι τέθηκε αυτό το θέμα, κοιτάξτε τα θαύματα, σε μια στρογγυλή επέτειο, πολύ σημαντική, 29η επέτειο, ακούσατε ότι οι 29ες επέτειοι είναι συνήθως οι πιο σημαντικές στον κόσμο, και ξεκίνησε μόνο για την 29η επέτειο και δεν στρέφεται φυσικά κατά των Σέρβων, αλλά έτσι είναι. Εμείς οι Σέρβοι δεν το καταλάβαμε έτσι και θα αντιταχθούμε σε αυτό στον ΟΗΕ όσο μπορούμε», δήλωσε ο Βούτσιτς.
«Και ποια είναι η υποχρέωσή μου τόσο όταν χάνουμε στο Συμβούλιο της Ευρώπης όσο και όταν χάνουμε επίσημα στον ΟΗΕ… Όταν συμβεί αυτό, θα πρέπει να σηκώσουμε κεφάλι και να αγωνιστούμε για την οικονομική πρόοδο της Σερβίας», ανέφερε.
Ερωτηθείς εάν οι συνομιλίες με αξιωματούχους των ΗΠΑ θα μπορούσαν να επηρεάσουν την πρόθεση της Σερβίας να αποτρέψει την υιοθέτηση του εγγράφου, ο Βούτσιτς δήλωσε ότι η χώρα του θα αγωνιστεί σκληρά.
«Λέω τα πάντα ευθέως, δεν λέω όλα όσα είχα στη συνομιλία μου με τον Ο’ Μπράιεν, αλλά λέω όλα όσα είναι σημαντικά για το κοινό στο πρόσωπό μου. Δεν μπορώ να κρύψω πόσο δύσκολο είναι για εμάς να κάνουμε αυτό που συμβαίνει. Όσον αφορά τον αγώνα για την επίλυση, γνωρίζουμε ότι όταν η Αμερική σηκώνει δύο δάχτυλα, ένα δάχτυλο, έχει 70 χώρες υπέρ της. Είμαστε μόνοι και θα τους αντιταχθούμε στο θέμα του ψηφίσματος, όσο μπορούμε με όλη μας τη δύναμη», κατέληξε.
I’m not sure where Greece’s benefit is, if they recognize it or abstain. I think she should see what other EU countries are doing and follow suit. She should not do what Serbia wants because they’re “fellow Orthodox”. Only what’s best for Greece.
At a time when Skopjie, Albania and Turkey act very aggressively against Greece’s interests, these same interests dictate the policy: Greece should not lose her traditional friends in the Balkans in order to facilitate the hegemonic West’s interests. Because the hegemonic West is losing the wars – one after another – and soon they will be “evacuating” like they did in Vietnam and Afganistan.
That’s a big debate…”what’s best for Greece”…it certainly doesn’t start with fascist “puppet” regimes that keep on implementing laws and signing treaties that the people who “elected them” don’t agree with…
