It was the most outrageously sexualized opening ceremony in the Olympic’s history. France and the West should be ashamed of the spectacle they presented: Drag queens all over the opening ceremony, a blasphemous scene ridiculing the Last Supper, and numerous other pseudo-artistic performances. I am wondering: Would they even think of ridiculing any part of Islam’s theology? No, of course not. If they did, there wouldn’t be any Olympics or a country called “France” the next day. All Christians should boycott them, turn off their TVs, and let them stew in their misery.
On top of all else, we had supreme hypocrites Pope Francis and degenerate Patriarch Bartholomew calling for a ceasefire, supposedly “according to the ancient tradition,” at the same time as they ignored Russia’s exclusion according to the same tradition! Will they ever criticize the disgusting opening ceremony?

Drag queens spark fury with ‘woke’ parody of ‘The Last Supper’ at Olympics ceremony
2024 Paris Olympic Games kicks off!
The scene created by the group of 18 performers showed an ornately dressed woman at the center of a long table wearing a halo crown and making a heart shape with her hands.
On either side of her were drag queens in various poses as well as a child. The scene culminated with a scantily-clad man painted from head to toe in sparkling blue curled up on a silver platter.
The Paris Olympics committee said that this was an “interpretation of the Greek God [of wine and festivity] Dionysus” to make “us aware of the absurdity of violence between human beings.”
But Christians said the organizers created a ‘woke’ parody of Jesus’ last meal with his disciples before his betrayal and crucifixion on the cross.
Texas Republican August Pfluger posted on X, saying: “It is unacceptable that the opening ceremony mocked Christianity and the Last Supper and included a child in a drag queen performance.”
Ex-transgender influencer Oli London said: “Olympics openly mocks Jesus’ Last Supper as drag queens dressed as women play the role of disciples while a plus size woman appears in the middle symbolising Jesus wearing a giant crown.”
Conservative French politician and European parliament member Marion Maréchal said: “To all the Christians of the world who are watching the #Paris2024 ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper, know that it is not France that is speaking but a left-wing minority ready for any provocation. #notinmyname.”
X owner Elon Musk also joined in the criticism, saying: “This was extremely disrespectful to Christians.”
But other social media users applauded the performance as historic, pointing out that three drag queens carried Olympic torches for the first time.
As the Olympic flame journeyed from Greece to Paris, three of the 10,000 torchbearers were drag queens.
Was the Greek National Anthem played at the Paris Olympics? Did I miss it??

If the organizers in Paris wish to desecrate the sanctity of the Games, which they did so far in the opening ceremonies, it is our responsibility as civilized citizens to protest their actions in a collective, comprehensive and constructive manner emphasizing the significance and purpose of this ancient Greek institution.
In 393 AD Emperor Theodosius I banned the Olympic Games “in the name of Christianity.” He had associated the Games with paganism. Today, a true pagan agenda, the woke ideology, is infiltrating the Olympics and is constantly being pushed down our throats by the liberal establishment. The Olympic Games are a line of defense against the woke movement as is Christianity, as both were victims in yesterday’s opening ceremonies. Let’s not continue to make the Olympic Games a victim.
Theodosius did not understand that the Olympics transcend nationalities, religions, adversities and cultural barriers. Let’s not follow in his footsteps.

The first two (according to statement by Merkel and Hollande) the West’s purpose was to buy time and arm the Neonazis of Ukraine. Finally it was the IOC responsibility to include Russia and ask for a ceasefire. Not Putin’s. Get your facts straight.

Because it’s an ancient Greek institution and we Greeks will not be the ones to boycott and eventually abolish the Games for any reason. After yesterday’s circus we Greeks should be calling upon the IOC to preserve the spirit of the Games, not boycott them. I really don’t understand how easily you and Nick and others fall into the traps of these woke clowns. In reality, if some people, say woke, wanted to get rid of the Olympic Games, all they need to do is degrade them like what happened yesterday and start the decline. The last thing we should be saying is to boycott them. All these athletes strive for years to be the best they can be and qualify for the Olympics which to them is their ultimate goal and here we have some (I don’t want to say the Greek word but it starts with ‘m’) who want to boycott the Games.

The Summer Olympics should be in Greece every 4 years…Period. Not only will the re-use of the existing facilities and infrastructure be cost efficient, but it will hopefully restore some semblance of the classic Sports (not woke) competition that added to the entire World’s civil and civic stature.

The 2004 Olympics bankrupted Greece. Greece can not afford a replay. Visit the Olympic stadium and see that it is in complete disrepair as are other sport venues.
You are mistaken as usual. This is going to be permanent and it will first save the Olympic Spirit and then bring a lot of money to Greece forever. Permanent structures used every four years will be treated differently and enhance the country.

Imagine your children or young grandchildren sitting with eager anticipation watching the opening ceremony and remarks of the Paris Olympics…only to be unsuspectingly surprised at the shock and awe tactics used to desensitize our youth by the outrageous over exposure to all sorts of derelict demonic and sexual innuendoes, taboos and unacceptable actions by adults. A greater issue that ought to scandalize us is the acquiescence of our Ecumenical Patriarch and his friend, the Pope of Rome. Why have they not said something? Where are the defenders of our Faith?
