I dont agree with Trump too often, but I agree this time. Kamala is not black. If she was in Europe, she would not be considered black. America has different standards of race. Calling yourself black, you need to have black features. Obama, who was of mixed parentage had mostly African features. Nothing of hers reminds anyone remotely of a person descendent from Africa. She doesn’t even look East Indian. She looks more Greek than anything else.
Who knows? May be she is a descendant of Alexander the Great, who had reached India 24 centuries ago…

Well, it is also true that Jamaicans (like Kamala’s father) have a India, and even Scottish ancestry. The Jamaican (and most of the British Caribbean) patois is a hybrid from India and Africa. However, Trump’s mention of this is rather crass, even if it is accurate. He should avail himself of proxies for such nuances.

I agree with you on the white ancestry of many Jamaicans. The upper class of Jamaica, even today, is composed of mixed race. Kamala’s father, from the pictures that we’ve seen is whiter than Obama. The slave owners had their urges “satisfied” by the slave women of the island. Same as in the U.S. The reason so many black Americans are different shades is because of white men abusing their slaves.
Getting back to Kamala, Trump is wrong in that she just became black. She always identified as black. She went to an all black college, she was in a black sorority, and she is documented, as having black identity before she became a politician.
But Trump stole the spotlight again. That’s all he needed.
