EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis).  In just one minute, RFK Jr. put his fingers on one of the biggest problems of our time: the housing crisis.  I fact-checked some of it, and Blackrock owns 6.8% of the single-family homes in America.  You can imagine how much State Street and Vanguard own!  I would only add that the wealthiest Americans are the same ones who allow millions of immigrants to come, and then they house them in establishments they likely own and make the Federal government pay them with printed money!! At the same time the real estate prices skyrocket and make it impossible for young, middle-class Americans to achieve the American Dream!  If this does not make you furious, nothing ever will!…

  1. RFK talks big but he’s one of the ultra wealthy, with money that came down from his grandfather, Joe Kennedy, that rigged the stock market to his benefit. The only solution for that wealth discrepancy, which RFK skips over, is to tax the wealthy, those with $400,000 per year or more. Trump is proud of the tax breaks he gave to the wealthy during his term. The democrats are the only ones who are willing to impose more taxes, but they need both houses of congress.

    • Bob you are acting like a high schooler that I need to teach the basics daily. You have been in business as you have said and you are sitting here telling me that these extra wealthy – if they are heavily taxed – will not take their money elsewhere? Are you that stupid? I doubt it. These people have armies of lawyers and accountants who will hide their money behind the 10,000 pages of the tax code. If this fails, in a matter of days they can take them to the Cayman Islands or other tax paradises. Taxing the wealthy is not a game for stupid socialists like Obama, Kamala and their ignorant crowd. To tax the wealthy you have to have someone who knows their tricks like Trump or RFK jr. You need a cat to catch a mouse and you are telling us here that you are going to trust stupid socialist mice to catch these wealthy tigers. It never works that way. Creating an elite, (the socialist terms is “nomenclature”) is synonymous with these idiotic socialist ideas. Benefiting the many is only done in a free economy. The tax payers benefit when the wealthy corporations bring their money back so they are invested here and taxed here. Trump already did it successfully in his first term. Please wake up and take off your stupidity blinders.

The current republican congress decimated the IRS. That has reduced audits to levels never seen in the history of American taxation. I am waiting to see how much taxes RFK has been paying. I hope he won’t hide it, like Trump has been doing. The NYT discovered that Trump has been paying $750 for the past 10 years, plus some years that he got back a few hundred million.

As for Trump and RFK “catching” the tax avoiders, let me assure you they won’t. Why didn’t Trump do that in his first term? What’s needed is tax professionals, that know what needs to be done for tax compliance. They dont have to have been employed by Trump to qualify. Trump and RFK personally don’t know what needs to be done.

And please, don’t use the go-to ignorant classification of democratic ideas as “socialist”. Taxing the wealthy is not socialist. I am all for a free economy. But not unrestrained. The government’s job is to see where society is need of financing and actually take from the rich and give to the needy. If you wait for “trickle down economics”, the rich to pay a living wage to their employees or to finance health care, you won’t get it.
The “socialist” Obama, as you characterize him, brought back the economy from the brink of depression, that Bush had drove it into and also provided health care for the poor. Before, if you got cancer and you had no insurance, you would lose everything you have. If that’s socialism, I’ ll take it.

        • Bob – are you sure you were in business? Please tell the truth… I f you have any business experience you should know that the IRS audits are for the small fish like me and you and most Americans. The issue here are the very wealthy, the top 5% who own over 60% of the wealth in this country. There is the money. Hiring IRS auditors is not a measure against the very wealthy but against the small business owners like you – if you are telling the truth. Who are you kidding? Please wake up asap… You and millions of others who are blinded by the brainwashing machine of the media.. It’s amazing that you choose to ignore basic statistics and eat up the crap served by uneducated idiots…

Being self employed, I had to obtain my own health insurance. I personally benefited from Obama care. Before 2010, I was paying $1200 a month health insurance for my self and my wife, with $10,000 deductible and limit of $200,000 per year. After 2010, my health insurance costs dropped to $375.00 per month with $500 deductible. When Trump became president, he attempted to take down Obama care and thank God McCain voted no, which was his last vote before he died. And Trump had no plans for “something better” as he was saying.
Nick, I don’t listen to any “idiots” as you’re saying. . I make up my own mind with personal experience.

          • Don’t change the subject on IRS audits – stick with the fact that these will be after you and other small business people.

          • I’m not worried about IRS audit. And of course I dont have inside information that they’ll be going after the small business owners. However, it makes no financial sense to do that. The amount of time it takes and the cost of an audit, will not be recouped if they take on low earners. Besides, look at the IRS statistics. Audits of $5 million earners are the most common ones.

          • Bob your stubbornness renders you unable to analyze things clearly. You really thing that 85,000 IRS agents would chase a few thousand mega-earners? P-lease… I am not a mega earner and I already know ten ways to protect myself against IRS audits… And I haven’t even asked my CPA. These people employ whole CPA firms, backed up by legal firms. Run of the mill IRS agents do not stand a chance…
