EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). We don’t know where to start with Erdogan… Should we underline his retail sense of international law? When it fits his interests, he respects international law. Elsewhere, in Cyprus, he pretends he is deaf… We should explain that he took this position supposedly to protect the Tatars who live in Crimea and other places in Russia. He follows the same policy (of inciting Turkish or Muslim minorities to rise) elsewhere and specifically in the Balkans from Bosnia to Skopje to Bulgaria and Greece.
But the best way to analyze this behavior is ethnic psychoanalysis – in other words analyzing Turkish identity, the Turkish soul, as it was formed through the centuries and presents itself today. Historians know that the Turks’ number one trait is megalomania- which is clearly depicted in their efforts today to become a regional power. But there is something darker in the Turkish soul, when it comes to opposing Russia, as Erdogan did by demanding Crimea to return to Ukraine. I have said many times that there is nobody the Turks fear so deeply and so viscerally as they do fear the Russians. During the last 300 years Russians and Turks fought countless wars, some of them over Crimea and the Tatars. The overwhelming majority of these wars ended with a disaster for the Turks. In the late 1820s, one of them was the main factor in the Ottoman Empire’s break-up and Greece’s gaining independence.
The response to Erdogan came swiftly from Maria Zakharova: “There is no discussion about Russian subjects”, she said. If Erdogan keeps this course for another few years, the most likely outcome will be devastating for Turkey. I can easily imagine in a year or so, President Trump agreeing with President Putin in a new “Yalta Conference” (by the way, the first one took place in 1945 in villa “Livadia” in Crimea, the house of Lambros Catsonis, a Russian Navy Officer and an early warrior for the Independence of Greece). The agreement can easily involve the split of Turkey into two or three parts and the creation of a Kurdish state… Nobody in the area, neither the Greeks nor the Arabs nor the Israelis, has anything to gain from a “Buyuk Turkiye” (Big Turkey”).

The Paissios Prophecy is coming true our own eyes. Be strong fellow Greeks!
My opinion is that Erdogan is a double agent , for Russia and the USA!
This explains his fluctuations in his behavior in foreign policy!
Erdogan is great leader for Turkey as the country belongs to the 20 richest countries of the world and Erdogan promised to have Turkey be in the group of the 10 richest countries of the World in less than ten years.
He has gainful enterprises everywhere ,a strong economy, trading partners including Russia ,China ,EU and the Arabs , is a big export of weapons, illegal immigrants, drugs, trafficking!
Greek politicians better wake up and close the borders to illegals and start producing natural gas to get Greece out of debt before the Turks settle and buy ALL THE ISLANDS AND GREECE!
