Young people cannot distinguish the Greek Flag from the Israeli one, even though they have seen both flags around many times because both ethnic communities are pretty strong in the New York area… “My bad,” she answered when she was confronted with the facts… Unfortunately, you cannot go through life offering “my bad” as an answer at every corner…
At the same time, one cannot overlook the enormous adversarial protests that the pro-Israel groups never before experienced: they have already lost the PR battle after seven decades of using and abusing the Holocaust at the expense of all other human catastrophes. Like in everything else, the pro-Israel groups thought they are unique, and their horror stories at the hands of the Nazis should have preferential treatment against all other abuses in history…
I grew up in a neighborhood of Piraeus (Kokkinia), built in 1922-30 by 90,000 Greek refugees who escaped the knife of the Turks in Asia Minor. They were barely able to settle down in their new homeland. Their memories of the Turkish Genocides (where over 1.5 million Greeks were lost) were still fresh when many, in 1940 (and after), had to fight the Fascists (Italians) in the mountains of Albania and then the Nazis who finally occupied Greece (1941-44). On August 16, 1944, our neighborhood was blocked by the Nazis and the local collaborators (Greece, since ancient times, always had plenty of traitors)… They gathered all men older than 14 in the main square. They executed over 200 on the spot. About 8,000 were made to walk 10 miles to a military camp. Some 2,000 of them were put in trains for Germany to Dachau, Auschwitz, and other concentration camps. Only a few returned, and I still remember some of them at ages 40 and 50 as I was growing up in the 1960s and 1970s… They were bouncing around the neighborhood with their minds lost because of the trauma…
The Holocaust included almost an equal number of Jews and non-Jews. Yet, the propaganda machine made us remember only the Jews instead of focusing on the inhumanity of the horrible crimes of the Nazis…
If the pro-Israel groups (and the black activists made the exact same mistake until today – asking recently for reparations!!) had focused on the “crime against humanity” instead of focusing on their ethnicity, America, Israel, and the whole world would be in a much better place. Because of the myths of “exceptionalism,” “supremacy,” and “chosen people,” all of us, and mainly the Israelis, are now facing a new humanitarian catastrophe…
Conclusion: YOU CANNOT REPAIR ETHNIC HATRED USING PREFERENTIAL ETHNIC TREATMENT – BECAUSE YOU WILL CAUSE MORE HATRED!! YOU HAVE TO FOCUS ON THE CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY—PERIOD!!

Dimwitted TikTokker tore down Greek flags at NJ restaurant thinking they were Israeli: ‘My bad’
It was all Greek to her.
A dimwitted anti-Israel TikTokker filmed herself tearing down flags outside a New Jersey restaurant — not realizing they were Greek, rather than similarly-colored Israeli ones.
“The time I mistakenly thought the flag for Greek was for Israel and took the restaurant’s flag down OMG,” the woman, who goes by “Ambamelia,” titled her video, which has gone viral with more than 3.2 million views on TikTok and millions more on X since being posted Tuesday.
“Look at that s–t,” she says in the footage as she starts ripping down a string of Greek flags hung up outside Efi’s Gyro in Montclair.
“You know there’s a genocide,” she barks at the cashier inside Efi’s, which bills itself as the “friendliest Greek restaurant in town.”
“I don’t stand for Zionism in Montclair!” she says proudly — while holding up a fistful of ripped-down Greek flags.
Two staff members eventually come out, looking confused and embarrassed for the dimwitted hater — until one gently points out that these white-and-blue flags are for Greece.
“What? Really? Oh I thought it was Israel — my bad,” she says.
“Oh s–t … it looked like Israel.”
Restaurant owner Efi Mihalis, who was only 18 when she opened the gyro spot in June 2021, confirmed on Wednesday that the bizarre attack was real — but that it had happened on March 11, with no obvious reason why it was only posted online now. Mihalis said she reported the incident to the police at the time.
“It was not a skit as some people believe,” she told The Post of online speculation that the attack was too dumb to be real.
“This was not planned nor was it calculated in any way,” she insisted, saying everyone had been “taken aback” when it happened.
“The young woman destroyed my property.”
Attempts to reach the TikTokker were not immediately successful Wednesday, and it remained unclear why she had decided to suddenly share the clip.
Still, she was ridiculed by commentators, with many calling the stunt “embarrassing.”
“Why did you post this?!! 
” a viewer asked in the comments, while another wrote: “Our education system is failing us i can’t.”
This is not the first instance of anti-Israel vandalism at a restaurant since Hamas’ barbaric October 7, 2023 attack on the Jewish state.
In December, an irate woman chucked soup at the employees of a Kosher restaurant in the Upper East Side and accused them of being “murderers.”
