Dora Bakoyiannis Talking Like A Traitor: “The Aegean Is Not A Greek Lake!!”

EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis).  This is how you know a traitor – from the choice of expressions they use… Dora Bakoyiannis served as a Foreign Minister of Greece and knows that the Turks have persistently used the expression “The Aegean is not a Greek lake” to promote their positions.  Yet, she decided to use this same expression at this critical juncture when the two countries’ foreign ministers met (yesterday) in Athens.  Dora did it very suspiciously, saying that the Greek sovereign rights in the Aegean were inhibiting international maritime traffic or blocking Russia’s passage to the Mediterranean.  THEY ARE NOT!! As a former foreign minister, Dora knows well that they are not!!

International law establishes that free navigation corridors should be allowed in any closed sea (where the 12-mile territorial waters block free passage – in the Aegean, this happens even with the existing now 6-mile territorial water zone).  Also, Greece has allowed the Russian Navy three “anchorage points” in the Eastern Aegean (West of Lesvos, South of Samos, and West of Rhodes, if I recall correctly). Why does Dora pretend that Russia, or any international power, has any problem with “passage” from the Aegean?

The primary beneficiaries of Dora’s “rhetorically” mentioning that the “Aegean is not a Greek lake” are the Turks.  Also beneficiaries are those bellicose actors in the American Deep State – like Mike Pompeo, who visited Greece a few days ago – who will never give up their hallucinations of breaking up Russia and removing Putin.  These actors still believe that they can retain Turkey in the Western alliance (especially after the future establishment of a Kurdish state) by bribing the “Sultans” with Greek sovereign rights.

Question to Dora: You own property in Chania, where you plan to build hotels (link here), etc. Would you EVER agree to let any neighbor of your property illegally take even a tiny percentage of what you own?  International Law gives Greece specific rights in the Aegean: An Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) around all inhabited islands and a 12-mile territorial water zone around them. Greece is the ONLY country on Earth that has not established such a 12-mile territorial water zone in the Aegean – only in the Ionian Sea. Why would you agree for Greece to give up something you would never do for your property?  Why are you even mentioning the idea? We all know why: Because you are a traitor born in a family of traitors!…

PS. In the video below, Dora reminds us of her late father in every way possible. He was the master of the rhetoric of selling out Greece. Since WWII, when he “served” as a Gestapo interpreter in Crete, 1965, when he spearheaded an operation to overthrow the Papandreou government, and the 1990s, when he publicly declared as a prime minister of Greece (!!) that “the name of Macedonia will be forgotten within 10 years!!!”
