For over forty years, Greece has lacked a strategy to deal with its neighbors.
We need a proactive strategy before we lose our Greek islands and additional Greek territory to illegal Turkish ambitions.
It does not help Greece when we encounter George Soros’s Globalist puppets controlling Athens as if Greece is a globalist-controlled colony. The intentional collapse of the Kostas Karamanlis pro-Greek government with the assistance of George Soros-funded NGOs led Greece down a dangerous path to Globalist Greeks after 2009.
I attended a think tank forum in Washington, DC, about the Turkish development of weapons of war in 2007. I tried to warn the Greek Embassy in Washington DC and its Greek Foreign Ministry about Turkish long-term strategy to develop its own arms in 2007.
You see, the Turks developed a long-term strategy to build their own arms industry to create Turkish-made drones, ships, satellites, warplanes, firearms, etc. For example, a Turkish arms company sells various Turkish-made pistols (https://blog.cheaperthandirt.com/6-best-handguns-from-turkey/). Turkish arms companies like Tisas, Canik, EAA, etc., sell Turkish-made pistols that compete with the Austrian Glock 9MM pistol. Turkey and Ukraine were coproducing the TB2 drones in 2022 to use against the Russian military (https://www.defensenews.com/global/europe/2022/02/04/turkey-and-ukraine-to-coproduce-tb2-drones/).

According to Breaking Defense (https://breakingdefense.com/2024/01/turkish-navy-takes-delivery-of-4-indigenous-vessels-including-first-home-grown-frigate/), Turkey built a homegrown frigate that can be unmanned.
Most of all, Turks developed their own machine gun called the Sarsılmaz PMT 7.62 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdIlrPmb4rU).
Turkey developed a strategy over twenty years ago to produce its own weapons.
In 2024, Turkey became the 11th largest arms exporter in the world. It is an alarm for Greece and Greeks worldwide.
Where is the long-term Greek strategy to counter Turkey in neighboring nations?
Turkey is using their arms to control their neighbors. Didn’t Turkey assist the Azeri Turkish army to invade and take over Armenian Nagorno Karabakh? In the past few weeks, Turkish armed proxies in Syria collapsed the Assad government.
Trump blamed Turkey for the fall of Assad in Syria.
The Turkish military dominates one faction that controls half of Libya against pro-Russian Libyan General Haftar.
The fall of Syria affects the Cyprus coastal region and its race to drill for oil.
With Syria under Turkish control, Turkey can focus its energy against Greece and Cyprus.
Greek strategy needs to be proactive with the Kurds/Alawites/Christians to unite against the Turkish HTS in Syria. I would go further in helping Kurds in Turkey, Iraq, and Syria create their own Kurdistan nation. Greece needs to assist General Haftar in Libya. Armenia needs advanced military technology to counter Turkish dominance. The Greeks must create military alliances with Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Serbia, and Italy to counter Turkish dominance in the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.
Most of all, Greece needs to secure its homeland by mass deporting all illegals in Greece. These illegals will be used by Turkish intelligence to create forest fires and kill, rape, or rob Greeks. At the same time, all Soros/UN NGOs that operate illegal migrant camps must be arrested and kicked out of Greece. Dismantle the migrant camps and deport all illegals at once.
Greece has the intelligence to develop its own arms industry. It is time to assemble a team of clever Greeks from across the globe to build its own drones, firearms, satellites, and other equipment.
I urge the Greek nation to dream it and create it.
After all, our ancestors dreamed of a Free Greece in 1821 with strategy.

He wants a Greek arms industry (which will give Turkey an excuse to commit more aggression) and he wants a Greek alliance with Russia (ignoring that the Russian-Greek history over the last 250 years has been riddled with Russian sell-outs and Greek sell-outs, leading to a lot of mutual suspicion).
I know this can seem demeaning for some readers on here, but the best approach will be for Greece to dot itself with more US military facilities.
How many more John? The whole country is a giant American base… And America over many administrations does not even guarantee Greece’s sovereignty!! Greece is the only country on Earth that has not declared a 12-Mile territorial water zone!! Why? Because the US says no, in anticipation of a deal with Turkey. Yes the Greek politicians are corrupt- but who corrupts them? You guessed it… it’s mostly the US..
For Greece to be isolated and crushed in a future war would be far worse. Such a disaster would leave us wishing for a return to the corruption of the present day.
So then where do you stand on the Aliferis proposals? Do you want a Greek arms industry? And more importantly, do you want a Greek alliance with Russia? Further, is there any political party or leader in Greece now who is actively promoting either idea?
There is no rational person or country that does not want a national arms industry. Especially Greece that has the famous “Hellenic brains”. Do you realize that Tesla’s engine and battery was produced by a team of Greek engineers of Athens Polytechnic (led by Konstantinos Laskaris)? And this is one of many examples… one more: the “Minotaur” anti-drone laser system… I will soon write on these issues. Nobody suggests an alliance with Russia – NOBODY. But it is pathetic to completely shut all relationships with Russia. Even the 1945 Yalta agreement provided a 10% Russian “influence” on Greece and it worked well. Why should Israel (that gets untold billions from the US annually) have better relationships with Russia than Greece?

The inclusion of Russia caught my eye. Maybe you missed it.
I am sure Alex did not mean strategic alliance with most of these countries that would defy its obligations to the Western allies. What he likely meant is forming a balanced set of relatiosnhips very close to what Turkey has with most of the countries listed. With some – like Bulgaria – a limited military defense pact against Turkey can be signed (and it was signed in the past even when Bulgaria was part of the Eastern block).
Hey John Sakelarias …who do you speak for ..it certainly is not the dominant Greek Orthodox populist of Greece, more like the “made in America Greek American Sons of liberty “Free Masons of the Ahepa “! Let me remind you ..the Greek Orthodox populist of Greece has a more favorable view of Orthodox Russia and Putin , than even Evangelical Zionist America and Trump and EU/Nato and clearly want to have a relationship with Orthodox Russia…period! And John ..help me ..has Greece declared war on Russia which was approved by the people of Greece or even the populist of America ! Finally, John … the last Orthodox Country who wanted to add U.S bases to its territory.. The Ukraine ..is currently being Crushed to the Tune of 1 million dead or wounded, their Orthodox Churches banned from operating, democratic elections have been cancelled , and a Dictator now no longer the legitimate leader of the Ukraine, and land turning into ashes!
I submit , Helleniscopes vision for the future of Greece is far acceptable to the “People of Greece”, than your adding more U.S bases to protect “Traitors” of Greece parading thru the Halls of the Greek Government!
After the above clarification, I can agree that Greece, while staying in NATO, needs to try to have positive relationships with many nations, including Russia and China.
But which current Greek politicians and/or parties are trying to further the right relationships?
Since you ask who is the party that is trying to further the Right relationships …it is of course Tsipras old Socialist party! Who else in Greece has ever successfully removed Fascist Neo Nazi occupiers but the communist or Socialist! I mean it was the alleged Greek Communist partisons resistance forces who were armed by Churchill to fight the German Nazi occupiers and Greek Nazi collaborators who successfully removed the Fascist from Greece! However the dirty little secret is ..it was also Churchill who sent British Troops after the Germans were removed to open fire on Greeks celebrating the Victory of Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill over the Germans and end of War ..in Sytigma square ..I believe the date was December 4, 1944..which every Greek remembers to disarm the Greek Communist partisons and lo and behold bomb them ..and the rest is history ..another civil war ! John , just for your clarification! Of course Tsipras betrayed the Greeks , and Right Wing Fascist Mistotakis continues to collaborate with Fascist and oppress the will of the people on all matters which serve the U.S and Nato! Some of those marchers looked creepy. And are you in the US? I am.
Do you like to see the US flag burned? Do you like the sight of red commie flags and Palestinian flags in Greece?
Nobody likes to see these things. But I remind you that in the US we have freedom of speech and burning the American flag is legal as per a Supreme Court decision decades ago. Yes they may not be “enjoyable” but they are legal. And we should not forget the hundreds of thousands or millions of dead people caused by unnecessary American wars abroad. Do you remember what Madeleine Albright answered when a journalist asked her if the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children are justified? She said that “they are justified”. Are they?
I was not asking “Michael One” if those displays were legal. I was asking if he liked them. I think he did.
And I have probably been as grossed out by the bumbling and insensitive foreign policy decisions of Madeleine Albright and her ilk as you have been.
Before leaving this topic, I have to offer a constructive critique of the background map that was displayed.
It has border lines that we do not care for. One is across Cyprus and another outlines what still should be the southern Serbian region of Kosovo.
The map also shows southern Russia and Crimea in different colors!
The map was supposed to show ethnic / religious make-up of the region. Sorry I could not find anything better fast.
