These photos (seen below) denote the days of the Allied occupation of Constantinople from November 1918 to October 1919… At that time, a battalion of Greek soldiers was part of the Allied forces that occupied Constantinople and some of them entered Hagia Sophia…

Today, according to some reports, many of the three million Kurds living in Constantinople and its vicinity took heart from the “Free Constantinople” movement and have started expressing their invitation to Greek armed forces to liberate Constantinople… It is very refreshing to see a new attitude of resistance against the neo-Ottomans…  But I would suggest they are a bit more careful – the whole situation seems to be evolving into a major bloodbath…

“Free Constantinople” Goes Viral!!

British politician Paul Golding successfully continued the Free Constantinople trend.
Multiple social media posts containing images of Constantinople occupied by the Greek army have garnered millions of views.

These images were created with the help of artificial intelligence and follow the “Free Constantinople” trend that American politician Steve Bannon started a few days ago on the X platform.

Supporters are Growing
Let us remind you that Steve Bannon, a former member of Donald Trump’s administration, was photographed wearing a “Free Constantinople” t-shirt a few days ago. Shortly after, his post went viral and many users bought the t-shirt, promoting the idea of ​​retaking Constantinople from the Turks.

Large pages continued this online trend with various related images. One of the most important such posts was made just a few hours ago by the British conservative politician Paul Golding, who is a co-founder of the right-wing party Britain First.

The photo posted on X by the British politician shows the Hagia Sophia in the hands of the Greek army. A large Greek flag can be seen on the top of the dome of this imposing church, while in front of it are several soldiers in armored vehicles.

“Soon,” wrote Paul Golding in the description of his publication, a publication that has already been viewed by more than 3 million users worldwide.

This particular photo, which was produced by an artificial intelligence tool, has gone viral in recent hours on the X platform. Many accounts are reposting it, supporting the “Liberate Istanbul” movement.

Among these accounts are independent analysts, journalists and media outlets with hundreds of thousands of followers on social media. A case in point is independent analyst and journalist Babak Taghvaee, who reposted the image in question, writing in the description: “After the fall of Erdogan’s neo-Ottoman empire, Istanbul will once again become a key city of Greece.”

Other similar images of Greek soldiers in front of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul are also making waves online. One of them shows young Greek soldiers holding a large Greek flag outside the church, wearing traditional Greek army uniforms.

Turks are certainly watching this trend with particular irritation and concern. Many of them are expressing their displeasure by commenting under these posts.
