EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). Those of you who understand Greek, please spend 15 minutes of your time listening to the speech of Maria Karystianou, the mother whose pain for the loss of her child gave rise to this enormous movement… A movement gathered in 100 cities and towns of Greece, with over 1,000.000 citizens. She speaks, and the crowd answers: “Murderers!” You do not need to be a political science professor to realize that this massive wave of popular demand for Justice and an End to Corruption, partly fueled by the “Trump Effect”, will share the political system in Greece and, hopefully, will put an end to the mafia families that have bankrupted the country financially and morally. Τhe worst “mafia family” of all is the Mitsotakis family.
QUESTION TO OUR PARADE COMMITTEE: This reflects on you. You invited the head “mafioso”, Vangelis Marinakis, but you refused to invite Maria Karystianou. But even if you do, do you think she would parade next to Marinakis? Would this symbol of the struggle for justice march next to the symbol of corruption? Do you now see how out of touch you are?
