I fluctuate on trying to figure out what Trump us doing
My take is he’s providing Zelenskyy the rope to hang himself. Trump knows full well that the Russian control the ZNPP, despite the fact that Zelenskyy claims Ukraine controls it.
When Zelenskyy can’t deliver on the promises he has made regarding handing over the ZNPP or the mineral-rich areas of Ukraine, Trump will tell him he’s got an even smaller deck of cards to play.
I believe some of this is just typical Trump theatrics. If the Ukrainians don’t deliver on Russias demands, trump will walk away and Russia will steamroll to Transnistria and leave a rump area called “Ukraine” with the west being controlled by Poland, Romania, etc.
My personal opinion: Reality has FINALLY hit Trump in the face in regards to Ukraine and the realities on the ground.
