” New leadership ” in Greece is seen as ” the only solution ” for the future of our country by George Papadopoulos , Donald Trump ‘s Greek-American advisor , who made a slur against Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his government, an example of how the actions of the Greek Prime Minister are perceived on the other side of the Atlantic.

As Papadopoulos points out, Greece ” could play a key role as a US-Russia interlocutor, as an Orthodox country ,” but ” the current Greek leadership has failed to take advantage of the situation .”

He then listed some of the major mistakes of the Mitsotakis Government , such as the risk of full support for NATO , at a time when, as he commented, ” Greece’s historical adversary, Turkey, took on the role of mediator and expanded its footprint .”

The ” war against the Church ” and the ” war support for Ukraine ” were also highlighted by Papadopoulos as moves that cost the Government.
