Archangel Michael colored in LGBT shades on KCSA social media
Thus, the capital authorities expressed “solidarity with the values” of the LGBT campaign.
In June 2025, the Kyiv City Council joined the “public educational campaign within the framework of Pride Month” by coloring the capital’s coat of arms featuring Archangel Michael in the colors of the LGBT community on social media.
“This is another step in support of the policy of equality, tolerance, and barrier-free access that the capital consistently implements. This initiative was proposed for consideration by the Barrier-Free Council by a representative of the NGO ‘Insight’ (an LGBT organization. – Ed.) during a meeting of the Barrier-Free Council with the Kyiv city mayor, which took place on May 28. The proposal was supported by the majority of votes,” stated the Kyiv City State Administration.
On the official website of the City Council, it was reported that as part of the LGBT campaign, employees of the department’s structural units will attend thematic training sessions on non-discrimination and inclusive communication, conducted by Insight. And on the profile images of the official pages of the Kyiv City State Administration on social networks, “a symbolic element in rainbow colors will appear as a sign of solidarity with the values of the campaign”.
The city authorities thanked representatives of the gay community for their initiative and partnership and called on the residents of the capital to participate in the campaign, “supporting the principles of equality, respect, and humanity”.
As reported by the UOJ, an LGBT festival and gay parade will take place in Kyiv on Trinity Sunday.

We have seen hierarchs celebrate (desecrate) liturgy in heretical church buildings draped with rainbow flags, with no chastisement by the Patriarchal Synod… why would they care about this unsurprising Ukrainian Uniate desecration?
