EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). Helleniscope had analyzed it thoroughly ten days ago (link here), and we explained that Greece pays a price for alienating Russia. Here it is again from the mouth of the “father” of Greek geopolitics. Professor Mazis, one of the best analysts globally…

I doubt the Russians would be behind the eviction of the Monks. The Monastery does not recognize the pseudo Church in Ukraine. The Monastery is also part of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
Jerusalem does not recognize the OCU and Patriarch Theophilos is well liked by the Russians. A ROCOR delegation recently visited Jerusalem and served with Patriarch Theophilos. Russian officials often visit the Patriarchate in Jerusalem.
There is no way that the Russians were behind it. What proof is there to make such an outrageous statement. That’s the problem with the Greece…they always blame someone else and everybody is blaming Russia for everything and of course Greece has blamed them in the past.
Russia’s problem is that it IS THE NEW ROME, the devoutly Orthodox most powerful nation defending Orthodoxy.
I will have to repeat one more time that the Russians established an Exarchate in Cairo in 2022 as a response to the Constantinople Patriarchate’s action in Ukraine. How difficult is it to absorb this simple information?
That is in response to the Patriarchate of Alexandria. St Catherine’s is with Jerusalem.
The Patriarchate of Jerusalem rejects the OCU. When Jerusalem organized a gathering in Amman five years ago to address the schism in Ukraine both Patriarch Kyril and Metropolitian Onuphry attended and supported Jerusalem’s initiative.
The Jerusalem Patriarchate’s news sources have news when Russian diplomats visit the Patriarch. Both bishops of ROCOR and Moscow serve liturgy with patriarch Theophilos.
