EXCELLENT NEWS FOR PEACE: According to recent news reports, US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg was not included in the delegation for the Trump-Putin meeting in Alaska. This decision was reportedly made because the Russian side perceives Kellogg as pro-Ukrainian, and his presence was considered potentially “counterproductive” to the negotiations.

The Turkish military may very well become Europe’s security guarantee for Ukraine. It seems inevitable that the EU will try to bring back the Ottoman Empire.
The Turkish military has lost to the Russians almost all of the 30 wars they fought in the last 300 years. In addition Russia will never allow the Turks to step even as “peacekeepers” in Ukraine or anywhere near their border. Finally the Turkish military has n no air force and no serious navy and their Army is unable to fight anyone except civilians and disorganized rebels.
I suspect that Trump would handily sign off on an Ottoman Empire “solution”, and so would the State of Israel.
That remains to be seen.
