Ukraine hasn’t been a democracy since the State Department coup. “…sliding further from…” misses the point: the United States cares neither for democracy nor for religious and human rights. Surviving the collapse of the world’s reserve currency by reducing population, erasing borders, and reorganizing the West as a transnational financialized competitor with BRICS/SCO — about this the West cares very much.
