That script always starts the same way: sanctions, covert action, and the fantasy of quick “Rambo-style” decapitation — remove the leader and declare victory.
But there is never a real plan for what comes next.
We’ve seen this movie before.
In Iraq, regime change destroyed the state.
In Libya, it produced total collapse.
In Afghanistan, twenty years ended in instant failure.
And in Syria, foreign interference prolonged the war and chaos. And it continues today.

The fatal flaw is always the same: regime removal is mistaken for nation-building. Leadership is eliminated, but institutions, legitimacy, and social cohesion are ignored.
Venezuela is no exception. It has entrenched power structures, military loyalty, regional allies, and a population already devastated by sanctions. The chances of a successful externally engineered takeover are incredibly slim.
