The East 94th Street townhouse, long owned by Greek entrepreneur George Logothetis and his family, has officially changed hands, marking one of the Upper East Side’s notable residential transactions of the year. (NOTE: Libra Group – led by George Logothetis – is a global business group active in six sectors: aerospace, hospitality, maritime, real estate, renewable energy, and diversified investments). Its subsidiaries own and operate assets in nearly 60 countries. You can learn more here.)
Located at 13 East 94th Street in Manhattan’s Carnegie Hill neighborhood, the historic Gilded Age townhouse was sold in early January for approximately $15.5 million, according to multiple real estate reports. The buyer was listed as Carnegie Hill 94 LLC, a limited liability company whose principals have not been publicly disclosed.

Logothetis, founder of the shipping investment firm Libra Group, originally acquired the six-story residence in 2011 for about $12.5 million. The property spans more than 6,400 square feet and is known for its preserved architectural details, including multiple fireplaces, a library, and a private garden. The home has also been historically linked to prominent New York families, adding to its prestige.
The sale comes amid continued strength in Manhattan’s luxury townhouse market, particularly in Carnegie Hill, where historic properties remain in limited supply and high demand among private buyers.
