Sometimes serious journalism produces tangible political results… Such was the case of the momentous interview of Tucker Carlson with the US Ambassador to Israel, evangelical preacher and Christian Zionist par excellence Mike Huckabee… Tucker destroyed Huckabee and caused a firestorm throughout the Middle East… Huckabee (see the video below) proclaimed that “It would be fine if (Israel) took it all”, meaning the entire Middle East… In this way, Huckabee, acting stupidly, destroyed the last drops of support Israel has in America… Watch for yourselves…  In this way, Tucker Carlson had a serious impact on global events today, and he may well have averted the war against Iran… (To watch the full interview, please link here.)

In response, a broad group of Arab and Islamic governments and regional organizations issued a joint diplomatic statement condemning the remarks as dangerous and contrary to international law. They warned the comments risk inflaming tensions and undermining regional stability.

Key elements of the diplomatic reaction include:

  • Strong, unified condemnation from more than a dozen countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan and Indonesia.

  • Endorsement of the joint statement by the secretariats of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the League of Arab States, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

  • Arab foreign ministries denounced the remarks as “dangerous and inflammatory” and a “flagrant violation” of international law and the UN Charter, asserting they threaten regional peace and security.

  • The statement firmly reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories or any other occupied Arab lands, and rejected any implication otherwise.

The diplomatic pushback was one of the most cohesive Arab responses to a U.S. official in recent years, underscoring deep regional sensitivity to rhetoric perceived as legitimizing unilateral territorial claims.

Excerpt from the Joint Arab Foreign Ministries Statement

“The ministries expressed strong condemnation and profound concern over statements by the U.S. diplomat suggesting it would be acceptable for Israel to exercise control over territories belonging to Arab states, including the occupied West Bank. The remarks constitute a dangerous and inflammatory position, a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and pose a grave threat to regional stability and security. The ministries reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty whatsoever over the Occupied Palestinian Territory or any other occupied Arab lands.”

  1. Mike Huckabee is 70 years old. The US may seek to quietly remind Israel’s neighbors of this detail and this could be followed in a few weeks or months by an announcement that Huckabee is retiring.

    • John, I don’t disagree with you. However (with tinfoil hat firmly in place), it’s possible that Huckabee did this in order to create the resultant Arab/Muslim firestorm and –hopefully–prevent American military action.

In any event, we are seeing the apex of worldwide Zionist power; there’s no place to go but down.

      • George – I agree. In previous posts I have put together the numbers of podcasters from Joe Rogan to Tucker to Candace Owens and so many others who express their outrage at AIPAC and the Zionists. Their audience is in the many tens of millions and they vastly outnumber the MSM… Without popular support the pro-Israel lobby is left with only one choice: censorship. They are trying their toes in this directions but this is America after all… The people own guns and at some point they will rise up…

      • So Huckabee had preventing American military action as a motive?

It make me recall a 1980s Doonesbury comic in which Ronald Reagan talked with his advisors about the suspicion that he had planned his economic measures not for the stated reasons but actually for other purposes. The comic then had Reagan saying, “Am I that smart?’

  2. It is High Time to reset the foundations of the Middle East as the source ,in honoring the CEO The God of Abraham by its blind belief in Monotheism, its historic connections as the product , of conflicting Religions of Judaic-Islam and Christianity -known as the Divine Topos in the Holy Land!
People need to free themselves from the chronic violence, the brutal bloodshed, from this contaminated area in world history ; The toxicity is beyond comprehension!

  3. Israeli religious groups, who also hold military power, are driven by their Messianic prophecy that one day all the Jews of the world will return to their land through a supernatural force. This belief may drive some to start a war with Iran, potentially causing damage to the USA and the world in general.

The Messianic ideal has been stressed in Yoval Harari’s lectures. Still, it was also emphasized around 2005 at a Jewish gathering in an auditorium at Riverside, a few blocks from Columbia University.

The question that concerns all of us, including American Jews who do not support this Messianic ideal, is why we must passively accept it. Why are we worried about Islamic terrorist groups but not concerned about the Messianic views of some powerful Israelis?

  4. The interview was maddening to watch. I don’t know how Tucker sat there for 2 hours listening to Huck’s mock confusion over his line of questioning: Are we supposed to treat Jews as an ethnicity or a religion? It was an endless merry-go-round.

My only regret for the interview is that Tucker didn’t ask the great theologian Rev. Huckabee about John 8:39-44, Galatians 3:7, and how his rationale for Zionism squares with the New Testament.

  5. The Jews are a people in rebellion against their King — Jesus Christ, who was sent to save them…
+ a people in TREASON against her King Jesus cannot lay claim on that covenant land!

    Who are “the chosen people”?
    Them that love JESUS.
