Where are the “allied” Israelis & Americans now? Will they protect the island?
(EDITOR’S NOTE – BY Nick Stamatakis). Helleniscope has repeatedly warned about the lack of balance in the so-called “3+1 alliance” between Israel, Cyprus, Greece, and the U.S. Last year, we had Israel “semi-officially” push for a “pre-emptive” war between Greece and Turkey. Then, when a Greek minister asked Israel to intervene militarily and support Greek sovereign rights in the Eastern Mediterranean and have the Israeli Navy help push the Turks away, they denied!! And recently we learned that they have kept the codes for the missile systems Greece bought from Israel – yes the “dome” that is supposed to protect the Aegean… Which means that in case Greece is attacked and Israel has returned somehow to a friendly relationship to Turkey, Israel may decide to screw Greece… – We shall return to this issue – but keep these facts in mind for now…)
Cyprus has clearly come into Iran’s crosshairs, with the Revolutionary Guards threatening heavier strikes against the island. A senior official of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened to intensify missile attacks against Cyprus, claiming that the United States has significantly increased its military presence on the island, according to Iranian media outlets.
General Sardar Jabbari, as reported by the Khabar Fouri agency, claimed that Washington has transferred most of its aircraft to Cyprus, warning that such a development would trigger a harsh response.

“The Americans have transferred most of their aircraft to Cyprus. We will launch missiles against Cyprus with such intensity that the Americans will be forced to leave the island,” he reportedly stated.
Iranian general Jabbari: The Americans have relocated most of their fighter jets to Cyprus. We will launch attacks on Cyprus until the Americans are forced to leave it too.
It is recalled that shortly after midnight, the British Bases in Akrotiri were placed on alert following an explosion on the runway attributed to the crash of a military drone. According to the state broadcaster, a second flying object was also intercepted; however, the Government has not confirmed this information.
Helleniscope’s Final Note: Whose interests does the most modern Greek Frigate “Kimon” protect in Cyprus? Along with the frigate “Psara” and four HAF F-16-S? All of which together probably cost about $2 Billion to the bankrupt state of Greece? Greece has to stay neutral in this conflict… Just the fact that Iran supplied Greece with oil practically for free (“Net 90” terms) in the 10 years after the financial disaster of 2014-15 should be enough to have any sensible and patriotic Greek government stay far away from the conflict… But there are no patriots in the Greek political elites it seems… At least for now…

What choice does Greece have concerning those bases? Should Greece fight the UK?
You mean Cyprus… Yes these bases are the last remain od colonialism globally… Even Hong Kong was returned to China… But the UK keeps the two sovereign bases in Cyprus and since the late 1960s they found a useful excuse not to pay rent… Welcome to the “just” world of the Globalists…
I have a question: why did Cyprus and Greece allow the Americans and Brits to use their COUNTRIES, especially an ILLEGAL one.
