During his recent visit to the Greek public broadcaster ERT, Bartholomew I of Constantinople spoke directly about the role of journalism, urging reporters to remain committed to truth and responsibility. He said that journalists have a “great responsibility to serve the truth,” stressing that the media should inform society honestly and avoid sensationalism or division. He also emphasized that truthful reporting strengthens democracy and social cohesion. The Patriarch praised journalists who work with integrity despite political or economic pressures.
The interview received significant attention in Greece because he linked the press’s moral responsibility to broader concerns about misinformation and polarization in public life.

“But if journalists were to follow his advice about truth, justice, objectivity, etc., and start bringing to light the various ‘dirty laundry’ of the Phanar, then all hell would break loose.

The Phanariots should simply say, ‘Happy Easter, Merry Christmas, many happy returns, good health,’ and leave it at that…
Let people more suitable than all of us teach morality.”

Patriarch Bartholomew doesn’t use computers or have email. All the email information given to him comes from those who surround him. He relies on these “journalists”.
He is still responsible- the “bucket” stops at his desk.
And indeed does he rely on journalists. His main concern each and every morning is, not prayer or meditation, but what has been written about him. He claims he doesn’t care and that he’s not concerned. My friends, he is very concerned and very afraid of what he reads and what is written about him. However his manic ego will not allow him to stop and reflect. Reflect on his life his ministry his failure to contribute anything positive to the Church which he supposedly is the leader of. He has led all of us to hell. If it were not for our faith in God and belief that He, Jesus Christ, is the One and Only True God, that’s exactly where we would all end up. With him in the abyss. I have never trusted him and those who did, have now awaken to reality. As for the rest of them who continue to see him as their patriarch, WAKE UP!!!

Y’all have no power. Until you officially separate yourself from the government, which means giving up church non profit status, you can do nothing. BART, canons, trans issues, Fordham crap, etc. But y’all will not take a stand and separate church from state. You want your cake and eat it. It’s easier to just complain. First amendment. Read. Obviously, we all know the Constitution has no power. Deceit, murder, and mayhem rule the day as it always has.
