Ouranos Books, a non-profit publishing initiative dedicated to bringing Greek literature, memoirs, history, philosophy, and cultural works to English-speaking audiences, is seeking a bilingual Greek-English translation associate.
We are looking for someone with an excellent command of both Greek and English and, above all, a love of language. Experience in translation, editing, teaching, writing, publishing, or related fields is welcome.
The ideal candidate will be interested in helping Greek authors reach a wider audience through thoughtful translation and editorial collaboration. Projects may include books, essays, memoirs, historical works, philosophical texts, and other manuscripts of cultural significance.
This is an opportunity to participate in a meaningful literary and cultural endeavor and to help preserve and share Greek voices with readers around the world.
