AHEPA and GOA are sponsoring a discussion tonight, Monday, at the St. Nicholas shrine at Ground Zero. The discussion will be led by the GOA’s chancellor, Fr. Vythoulkas, and his AHEPA counterpart. Mr. Zenon Christoddoulou. It will be on the topic of The Greek Orthodox Church & AHEPA: Two Pillars of the Greek-American Community.

The false claim these men assert crumbles in the face of evidence.
- Abandoned in droves.
AHEPA does not become a pillar by lying about its membership strength. AHEPA has only 15,000 members nationwide, and not all of them are Greek-Americans. Our community, on the other hand, boasts 1.25 million people who identified as Greek Americans in the 2020 census. That means AHEPA’s membership strength constitutes a mere 1% of our community’s population. Furthermore, AHEPA’s membership is shrinking at an alarming rate of 3% per year.
You don’t need the seminar speakers’ doctorate degrees to know that 1% of our community is not a pillar. It is not even a stub!
The church, on the other hand, was once a pillar – the pillar – of our community. Unlike AHEPA, GOA was not founded by the Ku Klux Klan to pursue its white supremacy ideology of “pure and undefiled Americanism.” The church was built by the blood, sweat, and tears of Greek immigrants who sacrificed everything they had to raise their families in the One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, the body of Christ.
But that era is gone. The syncretic ecumenists who usurped our churches and converted them into ecumenical shrines, complete with AHEPA masonic temples, cannot speak of the church of our fathers that we thirst for.
The fraud perpetrated by these “defenders of Hellenism” who refuse to raise the Greek flag in the church yard ensures they are not a “pillar” of my community. They are nothing but pillagers!
Numbers do not lie. Of the 1.25 million Americans identifying themselves as ethnically Greek in the 2020 census, only 85,000 were regular attendees of GOA churches, or 6.8 % of our community! Similarly, of the 1 to 1.2 million Americans who identify as Orthodox Christians, the GOA’s 85,000 regular attendees constitute only 6.5 % of the Orthodox community. Where is the pillar?
These are the figures from six years ago, before Elpidophoros destroyed what was left. I challenge Dr. Vithoulkas and his AHEPA counterpart to provide updated data that supports their claim that GOA is a pillar of our community. The numbers prove it is not!
As of six years ago, 93.2% of our community voted with their feet and left GOA in droves. Nearly a quarter of them left between 2010 and 2020. In the years since Elpidoktonos arrived, the decline has increased drastically.
AHEPA and GOA are not community “pillars.” They are our community’s pillagers.

- “Non-sectarian” means “non-Orthodox”.
Article 3 of AHEPA’s constitution states: “[AHEPA] shall be non-partisan in politics and non-sectarian in religion. All partisan political and all sectarian religious discussions are strictly prohibited in any official deliberations thereof.”
By definition, non-sectarian means non-Orthodox. There is no room for misinterpretation.
But AHEPA does not stop there. It has its own religious pagan rituals, dogmas, and “chaplains” who lead the “initiates” in “prayers” to their “supreme deity.” They bless each other with a heretical sign of the cross. They immerse themselves in heretical initiation services and heretical funeral services that take priority over whatever religion its members happen to espouse.
Unlike our churches and parishes, which were founded by the blood, sweat, and tears of hard-working immigrants, AHEPA was founded by the Ku Klux Klan as a K.K.K. affiliate. Its goal was not to foster the immigrants’ assimilation; it was to promote the K.K.K.’s White Protestant supremacy principles.
The Klan gave AHEPA its name. It drafted AHEPA’s charter, constitution, bylaws, oaths, and rituals. It made membership available only to White males who were not Catholic or Jewish. It led AHEPA to disavow the use of the Greek language and Orthodox prayers at its meetings. It led AHEPA to lobby for the banning of foreign-language newspapers and the closure of parochial schools. It made AHEPA preach the Klan’s doctrine of “pure and undefiled Americanism.”
This is not ancient history. AHEPA continues to lie about its history. It continues to tell members of Congress that it was founded to defend Greek Americans from the atrocities of the Ku Klux Klan. It continues to be “non-sectarian” and non-political. It continues to practice its heretical cult rituals and converts our churches into “AHEPA temples.”
As the Greek proverb says, «Έβαλαν τον λύκο να φυλάξει τα πρόβατα!» They put the wolf to watch the sheep!
Through their heresies, Ahepans have cut themselves off from our church, which is the body of Christ. If Dr. Vithoulkas is truly a priest, he must instruct the Ahepans he blesses tonight that the rituals they received from the K.K.K. are repulsive to the teachings of the Fathers of the One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. They are NOT an alternative way to achieving Nirvana.
- AHEPA’s discrimination against women.
AHEPA’s problem lies not only in its numbers but also in its fraud and dishonesty. It is also in its discrimination against half of our community’s population, our women!
Elpidophoros falsely declared in his encyclical that “AHEPA . . . fill[s] its ranks from all the members of our communities, regardless of background.” Are women non-existent in our communities?
The constitution that AHEPA received at its founding from the Ku Klux Klan excluded Blacks from AHEPA membership. AHEPA preserved that exclusion for nearly five decades, even as Archbishop Iakovos marched for civil rights with Martin Luther King, Jr.
AHEPA has since deleted the exclusion of Blacks from its constitution, but it continues to exclude women from full membership and leadership roles. Instead, it relegates women to an inferior auxiliary organization, the Daughters of Penelope. That inferior auxiliary is named after Penelope, Odysseus’ loyal wife, who waited for her husband for twenty years.
In AHEPA’s core ideology, women lack the necessary instruments that men have to lead! An organization that numbers one percent of our community and consciously rejects half of its members on sexist grounds cannot honestly pretend to be a pillar of that community.

Congratulations, you said it all Helleniscope!
After the strange decline of GAPA, AHEPA dominated the Greek – American community and is 100% responsible for the continuing decline of the community in every aspect (identity / language, religion, family, business etc.). They turned the Greek – American community from a thriving community to a «καρπαζοεισπράκτορας» of the Jewish lobby…
The proof is in the pudding…After a century of fundraising, banquets, Festivals, conferences, and public statements, are these institutions today stronger custodians of Hellenism and Orthodoxy than they were fifty years ago? That is a fair question and one that their leaders should be willing to answer honestly. But the leadership is rarely held accountable, so difficult questions go unanswered while the remaining parishioners are expected to stay the course aboard a ship that is plainly taking on water.
Dear Helleniscope, how could you miss the fact that AHEPA and all its branches are Freemasons under a different name?
We didn’t miss it – we consider it a given and we described it when we spoke about their rituals… we said: “ It continues to practice its heretical cult rituals and converts our churches into “AHEPA temples.”
Now who is the Turkish Agent? The liberators of Greece and the USA were all freemasons!
That is why Koraes wanted a Protestant, Tecton Greek Reformed Church,
not tied to islamosoviet desidemonism.
I REMIND YOU AND ALL AHEPANS THAT KAPODISTRIAS, THE TRUE LEADER OF THE 1821 REVOLUTION AND AMONG THE MOST ENLIGHTENED LEADERS OF HIS TIME GLOBALLY WAS AGAINST SECRET SOCIETIES OF ALL TYPES.
Devils walk among the flock. In church buildings and out of church buildings. Let them go rent a space somewhere to conduct their cult.
Jane,
That’s the whole point, they are trespassing in our churches because:
1. They are cheap, they don’t want to pay rent!
2. They do fundraisers in our churches, supposedly for scholarships, but deliberately they don’t mention that these scholarships go only to AHEPA children! Very Christian of them…
3. The infiltration of AHEPA in the parish councils permits them to hire only AHEPA people in the church payroll. Also they have access to the cash money. The churches that are ruled by AHEPA have unusually low numbers in candle money…
4. Their presence in our churches permits them to recruit new members, using the usual Masonic bait of economic success. They have turned the coffee hour of our churches to AHEPA recruitment hour…
The conclusion is that AHEPA is the only one profiting from this parasitic relationship, which was imposed to us, without ever being asked, by the obviously Masonic leadership of GOA and Phanar…
This is one more reason to show up at the rally on Thursday. EVERYONE MUST GO! The stakes are extremely important
The conversion of our Orthodox churches into inter-faith shrines and the elevation of a KKK-created masonic cult into a “community pillar” is the biggest fraud committed on us.
At one time, ecumenism was based on mutual doctrines of faith. Fr. Florovsky accepted the challenge, as John 17:21 urges us to do, but without abandoning the Truth of our Faith, the teachings of our Church Fathers.
What we now have is syncretism, the merging of truth with lies, light with darkness, good with evil! That is NOT what God wants!
At St. Nicholas, Elpidophoros openly rejects our orthodoxy and proclaims a syncretic doctrine, that all religions are the same!
In that context, AHEPA’s heresies are acceptable to them. The Masonic belief in a Great Architect (God) who transcends all religions is fine with Elpidophoros, Bartholomew, and Fr. Vythulkas.
Bear in mind what really matters to them. Just follow the money. AHEPA reports on its tax returns that it has a $17 million account. (In reality, it has a lot more hidden in separate legal entities. It’s time to expose them.)
Don’t you think that Elpidophoros and Bartholomew smelled that money?
To them, Orthodox doctrine is for the naive, the sheep . . . That would be us!
GO TO THE RALLY! We are well past the days of comfort.
So many males, I won’t call them men on this issue, in my large family were members of AHEPA solely for the parea and to play cards (let’s be honest). My father REFUSED to go along, he had much higher aspirations for his life- thank you Lord for giving me that father.
More recently during anniversaries of our church, when AHEPAns in our community would falsely claim that they ‘helped build our church’ my father spoke out against that lie because he was there in the 1940s and witnessed those who helped and those who did not help to get the church built. That AHEPAns would misrepresent themselves and claim honor falsely, on the solea, in a nonsense recognition inside the church, tells you what you need to know about them.
Oh, but maybe they don’t play cards like they used to; now it’s golf.
Dropi then exoun.
AHEPA IS AN EVIL INSTITUTION SUPPORTED BY THE GOAA AND THE TURKISH HERESIARCH WHOS NAME IS BARTHOLOMEOS. ANATEMA TO THEM.
One look at the list of supreme presidents will give your pretty good idea of what ahepa is all about. Start from the current and go back to his devient predecessor. A supporter and partner of Elpidoktonos in a secular company, and of course in the chambers of the various hotels with their mistresses for hire. I’m hoping that his spouse and the others side kick in NY and 4 hours north of NY are reading this post. Back to AHEPA. THEY MUST BE REMOVED FROM EVERY PARISH. ORGANIZATION. Their members must make confession of faith if they wish to continue to be members of the Church. Enough for tonight.
So, how exactly is AHEPA keeping what secrets? I agree with you that secrecy leads to suspicion of conspiracy. Peter Peterson got the Council of Foreign relations to reduce their non-attribution rule (which is still common in many forums where officials speak freely) in order to decrease conspiratorial phobias. Likewise, Paul Volcker mocked Ben Bernancke for too much transparency at the Fed Reserve, believing some sort of mystique better allows the Fed to do its job. None has gone back to Volcker’s ways. Despite many nuts, the Fed Reserve is the most open and federalist central bank since that original central bank, the Delian League. And your beloved RFK2 wants to eliminate the openness of medical advertising (I tend to agree). So how exactly do you define SECRET? Don’t glibly repeat television palilalia.
