On July 20, 1974, the Turkish military invaded and illegally occupied Cyprus.
Turkey destroyed churches. Turkish soldiers murdered Greek Cypriot civilians. Muslim Turkish soldiers raped Greek Cypriot Christian women. As a result, Turkey forced all Greek Cypriots from their homes.
In the past, I put out a message out that the Republic of Cyprus needs to arm itself. Cyprus needs to be prepared for military conflict with the Turks.
Turkey warns Greece and Cyprus that it will invade one day to take over Greek islands. Turkey bullies Cyprus to take control of its offshore oil.
Modern Greeks have direct DNA from our warrior Ancient Greek ancestors. We are not wimps. When a Greek is pushed, the Greek fights and wins.
Cyprus President, Nikos Christodoulides, lived up to his 2023 election.
He is rebuilding the Greek Cypriot National Guard. He is planning to build defense equipment on the island of Cyprus. Greece needs to take note. At the end of 2025, Cyprus, Greece, and Israel signed pact creating rapid defense units to counter Turkish military threats. Cyprus President Christodoulides spent 1.2 billion euros to upgrade the Cypriot National Guard with advanced weapons.
It has been 52 years since Turkey invaded and occupied the Greek island nation of Cyprus.
The time of being victims is over. The time to arm and liberate occupied Cyprus from theTurkish military occupation is now.
