One hallmark of a feudal system (or a dying empire) is society fracturing into rigidly defined classes. If race or ethnicity is part of that mix, then castes form. Think of India. If race is not the determining factor but ethnicity is, then this describes England after the Norman Conquest or Ukraine during the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Homogeneous societies, such as the Ancien Régime of France, harden into concrete classes, resulting in hereditary groups that cannot see the broader picture and work only for their own interests.
It’s not too much of a stretch to see such a state of affairs in the West today – not merely America but Europe as well. The Brussels elite have a clear disdain for the indigenous European peoples that it’s no longer possible to hide.
That’s the picture from 30,000 feet as I see it.
Nobody, however, lives at 30,000 feet. Everyone I know lives at ground level. And here, where disparate groups are living cheek by jowl, elbows can get awfully sharp. This is especially true in a Republic which guarantees equality before the law. In other words, where there is no official class system.
Unfortunately, some people haven’t gotten the memo. One such person, as you can see in the video below, is Rabbi Shmueley Boteach.
Now I won’t go into too much detail about the good reverend’s personal business practices. In case you didn’t know, he and his daughter are purveyors of –how shall I put this delicately? —novelties. Anyway, that’s neither here nor there.
The issue is Rabbi Shmueley’s disregard for the American criminal code. According to 18 US Code Sec 373 (“Solicitation to commit a crime of violence”), he has committed a criminal act by openly advocating for the Mossad to kill Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. If I didn’t know better, I would say that at the very least, he has no self-awareness or sense of irony.
Now we can speculate as to why Boteach has no compunction at all about acting out in such a reprehensible manner. We can also speculate that if another public figure spoke such vile words, he would be receiving a visit from the FBI.
So let’s speculate.
You see, Boteach is an Orthodox Jewish rabbi. For those who may not know, rabbinic faith depends heavily on the Talmud, a compendium of several volumes of Jewish law, lore, and narratives that guided Jews during centuries as a dispersed people. Some of the writings are benign, things like helping the local beggar at your doorstep as opposed to one in another city. Other writings are –frankly put—reprehensible. (I won’t repeat what they say about Jesus and His blessed Mother.)
Those are basically the two extremes. In the middle, however, are what can be called situational ethics. Gentiles (who are called goyim) are to be given no consideration at all, mainly because they have inferior souls. They can be swindled, robbed, or even murdered with nary a thought. That is, unless doing so would harm the greater Jewish community. Charity can be given to gentiles if it makes Jews look good; otherwise, they are to be kept at arm’s length.
Now it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to conclude that if the concerns of gentiles are secondary at best, then the laws which govern gentile society can be ignored. This is exactly what we see in this video. There is no other way to say it: Rabbi Shmueley is openly calling for the murder of another human being –two actually. And I’m going to go out on a limb and say that he has absolutely no sense that he’s doing anything wrong, much less criminal.
Now you and I may disagree about Tucker and Candace. Personally, I like Tucker but he can act squirrelly at times. As for Candace, I think she’s done some good work but she’s a little too fixated on Bridgette Macron’s genitalia. But that is neither here nor there. They are human beings and they deserve all the rights which the law extends to every other human being –Rabbi Shmueley as well.
Because if we don’t take the laws seriously, then we won’t have a Republic for much longer. And we’ll know where we stand if and when Boteach receives a visit from the FBI. Personally, for all our sakes, I hope he does.

He didn’t advocate for their murder, any more than Trump told the Jan. 6 people to storm the Capitol. The violence was in reference to Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas. The references to Tucker and Candace are about media. That Jews need to be more aggressive in fighting what they perceive as anti-semitism. You can see this happening right now with Mark Ruffalo (the guy who played Hulk). I think what the Rabbi is advocating for, is sharper and concerted pushback against people or groups that are considered enemies of the Jewish people. That doesn’t mean Mossad (not assassins, anyway). That means greater hyper-sensitivity, and coordinated, very aggressive campaigns against such public figures.
In short: “Cancel Culture” going nuclear.
I saw so many bend over backwards to defend Trump about Jan. 6. Attempting to do this Rabbi what you claim the Democrats did to Trump is low.
It isn’t that hard to keep the rhetoric purely in the realm of criticizing Israeli policy. Unfortunately, too many have lost the plot and are starting with Anti-Semite adjacent garbage. “The Israeli Government” becomes “The Jews.” I heard one Orthodox priest talk about “small hats, big problems.” Repugnant.
People have lost their minds. It’s sad to see.
David, you are making another mental “salad” here. The rabbi is expressing a widely reported phenomenon of the Israelis – mostly them and NOT the Jews in general – describing the rest of us, the Christians, as goyim i.e. “inferior”. The Muslims and the Palestinians are not even inferior- they are “Amalek,” which means something like animals… So there is a very strong basis for the Rabbi’s behavior.
Comparing it with Trump’s actions is one more example of the illogical mental gymnastics that point to you acting like a troll. If you keep that way, your comments will not be posted here. I just got rid of Bob Carp. You will be next. You did the same last week – this is the second warning.
Calling it antisemitism – it’s a trick we always use.” – Shulamit Aloni, former Israeli Minister, in 2002.
Not 2023.
Not post-October 7th.
In this rare interview, Aloni openly admits that accusations of antisemitism are often used to silence legitimate criticism of Israel, especially around its occupation, settlements, and human rights violations.
She says clearly:
“When people in Europe criticise Israel, we bring up the Holocaust.
When Americans criticise us, we call them antisemitic.”

She says clearly:
And her solution to the violence?
“Stop the occupation.
Stop the settlers.
Stop the crimes against humanity and against individuals.”
This isn’t new.
The weaponisation of antisemitism has long been used to deflect from the real issue: the ongoing occupation and apartheid system.

David,
Not sure how much you concentrated on the words in that video link above, but this is one of those times where it’s more appropriate for readers and commentators to get serious and focus on the actual question at hand.
There used to be a day, not so long ago, that everyone in the United States openly said “I don’t agree with what you are saying, but I defend your right to say it”….do you remember those days? I certainly do, and they were comforting, because that’s what the United States stands for in many ways. Since you previously disclosed your veteran status, we can ask directly…isn’t that one of the big reasons you proudly served? To preserve a certain way of life for all of us, including preserving the principle of “I disagree with you, but I defend your right to your viewpoints”? Did you stop fighting for that principle after you took off the uniform?
This guy in the video is saying “why don’t we take out…” because they are saying something that he doesn’t like. The words “take out”, followed by the previous tangible example of who Mossad executed are a clear threat, and encouragement for someone to do the same to the named “targets” on his wish list. As a former veteran, you should know very well what the words “take out” mean in this context…Is that ok with you? Why should he not be held accountable if he broke any laws?
Those are the questions the article is focusing on…
Markos,
I’m all for free speech. I still believe in it. As I said in the other conversation, for me (and most veterans), the oath is for life.
George says that this Rabbi is advocating the murder of Tucker and Candace. I said the video doesn’t support that assertion, as it is “reading into it,” much like Trump’s enemies did with his January 6th Speech. Rabbi Boteach did not advocate for murder or for Mossad to assassinate them. That is an inflammatory thing to say. The key phrase here is “IN MEDIA.” In the media world, “take out” means cancel culture (which I’m also a staunch opponent of). I cited Mark Ruffalo’s problems as an example of what the Rabbi is saying in practice.
Radical Leftists say that those who advocate immigration reform want to kill migrants. That isn’t true either.
I think we have to be very careful about the kind of language we use. People have been radicalized, in both directions. Charlie Kirk died because of it. Synagogues are vandalized and shot up because of it.
RESPONSE BY MARKOS
David,
The words “take out” right after the Rabbi gives the example of Mossad’s assassinations in Iran have nothing to do with the weak attempt to obfuscate his words as some “cancel culture” thing…
Unfortunately, when an individual is the only one in the room supporting an “imaginative interpretation” of plain English words, and everyone else in that room is concluding a “very different interpretation” to these words, then that individual is either a misunderstood genius, or perhaps has Ostrich DNA (head-in-sand syndrome), or he is arguing for the sake of arguing (or grand-standing).
In Greek culture we are well aware of this 3d phenomenon…it is called the “kafeneio syndrome”, where the age-old phrase “wherever you find 2 Greeks, there will be 3 opinions” is a reality, (because even if the latter agrees with the opinion of the former, because the former said it first, the latter MUST dissent in an effort to draw the crowd’s attention…)
We Greeks understand this phenomenon and while we are culturally used to it, and while we also sympathize with the individual’s passionate efforts to attract attention, sometimes it’s actually time to be serious.
Unfortunately for you, the majority of this forum (and probably the rest of the universe) appears to disagree with your interpretation. That probably says a lot in itself, so it’s probably a good time to remember that oath you took, and listen carefully to that video again. That Rabbi is an American citizen…he is asking a foreign intelligence agency to “take out” other Americans with whom he disagrees. How American is that? If you took an oath and if you agree that “I disagree with you but I defend your right to say what you are saying”, then you can’t possibly justify this Rabbi’s rhetoric.
I support free speech (as well as the other freedoms enumerated in and protected by the First Amendment and the entire Bill of Rights), so I support my fellow American Tucker Carlson.
“Go after,” this fascist, hateful rabbi says, as a dog whistle for God-knows-what. The rabbi’s speech skirts a dangerous line, not protected by the First Amendment.
Yes, our host Nick has extended the freedom of speech to people, whereas the EP crowd that some here seem to support, would no doubt shut us all up if they could.

JEWS ARE ABOVE THE LAW!
The Jewish ✡ three step “divine formula” to get away with commiting crimes on foreign soil works!
1 – Jews can commit any type of crime and get away with it anywhere in the world
2 – After being caught, Jews can access the Zionist networks of lobbyists, and influential Jews for assistance.
3 – Then the criminals can flee to Israel 🇮🇱
THE ISRAELI WHO CAUSED THE FIRE IN THE SELLIIA OF RETHYMNO IS FREE….!
The 35-year-old Israeli man, who is held responsible for the large fire in Sellia, Rethymno that broke out on Friday, August 14, appeared before the Court to provide explanations for the fire in Sellia, Rethymno.
He and his large family had stayed in a luxury villa in the area where the 35-year-old allegedly caused a large forest fire in order to… have a barbecue.
He was charged with arson but a few days later he was released on a ridiculous bail of 10,000 euros and was simply ordered to report once a month to the Greek embassy in Tel Aviv. So, he is already on his way to Israel.
Normally, the charge of arson carries prison sentences of up to 20 years, while fines can reach 200,000 euros.
However, everything indicates that the… privileged tourist in question will never face such punishment.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Israelis have caused forest fires, completely “accidentally” in areas of high value outside of Israel.
The example of two IDF soldiers, who posed as tourists and set fires in a protected forest in Argentina with the aim of devaluing the value of the land, so that it can be purchased cheaply, is typical.
The main targets of such “business plans” are areas near fresh water sources, mineral deposits or tourist areas.
A broad swipe of disdain is taken against this privileged “ethnic” class because it is the TRUTH and it is the Jewish international mafioso network. They make past Sicilian networks look like child’s play.
Hard, documented evidence has been available for hundreds of years. But lest that be deemed unreliable, look to this past century. A mountain of evidence exists regarding their hatred against Christian nations and their long-game agenda, beginning at the turn of the 1900’s to overthrow the nations and install their “Jewish Century”. It’s hard to ignore all of this well-documented evidence when it comes straight from international Jewish organizations and whistleblowers.
They had their century and now much of the world sees through their perpetual lies and well-crafted, imaginary boogeymen!
