A year and a half ago, when Greek-Turkish tensions around the island of Kassos neared open conflict, the Greek defense ministry asked Israel to send a corvette to the area. THEY FLAT OUT REFUSED. I have been suggesting for the past 15-17 years (since 2009 when Israel-Turkey relationships started to deteriorate with the famous incident between Erdogan and Shimon Peres in Davos) that the only way for Greece to have a meaningful relationship with Israel is absolute RECIPROCITY.
In our case, this means Israel gives FIRST, and then Greece and Cyprus reciprocate. As it is right now, Greece and Cyprus give first (weapons purchases and many other offers that have to do with allowing Israel to have what it does not – strategic depth), giving nothing substantial back.
Allow me to translate this into current policy: Greece should immediately declare a 12-mile territorial water zone and then, right after or simultaneously, declare its EEZ and unite it with the EEZ of Cyprus, something the Cyprus government has been asking for the past two decades. IF ISRAEL WANTS ANY SUPPORT FROM HELLENISM, THEY SHOULD OFFER ALL THEIR SUPPORT AND STAND BEHIND GREECE ALL THE WAY.
Otherwise, they can stay in the isolation they have created for themselves, and they will stay outside Greece. Greece and Cyprus do NOT want their blood money. And they should have to go to Patagonia (In the South of Argentina – where famous Zionists have already purchased huge pieces of land) and to Antarctica. This is the only place on Earth they will be welcome.

Answer: The day that it becomes critically important (for whoever gives the orders) for the Turks to close the Bosporus to the Russian fleet… International treaties allow the legal closure of that waterway ONLY if the Turks are in a state of war (and by that we don’t mean Syria / Iraq, etc)….
Marko, that’s interesting. I wasn’t aware of that clause. I’m wondering though, if Greece is dragged into a hypothetical war and they take the Bosporus straits, then they could open it up for the Russians.
That of course would give the Russians and excuse to come to Greece’s aid in a war with Turkey.
On the other hand, Turkey may make a side deal with Russia so they don’t come into a war, or if they do, they come on their (Turkey’s) side.

For the crime of treason, should there be a full pardon for all Greek politicians, lawyers, judges and their familes?
Including commoners like students, farmers, clergy or restauranters?
No matter what the crime.
Should there also be a full pardon for members of the Golden Dawn politicians who are currently serving prison sentences?
Example 1
If a situation were brought to court, and it was discovered that someone like Dendias, Giorgiadis, Mitsotakis or Tsipras were involuntarily (under duress) working for another group to undermine Greece.
If their families were threatened or blackmailed. Should they receive a full pardon?
As a contingency, if they were to receive a full pardon, these politicians could never work in politics again, or NGO’s or any other organization which could potentially link to politics. In Greece or elsewhere.
Their assets in Greece won’t be seized and their family members won’t be harmed.
If discovered that under duress they involuntarily embezzled state funds, the politicians and families could also receive a full pardon for their testimony.
If however, it was discovered that they voluntarily embezzled state funds, like George Papandreou allegedly did, the politicians could be at the mercy of the people and the State?

If it was discovered that Greek politicians were voluntarily working for the enemies of Greece 🇬🇷 … they could still receive a partial pardon for their testimony, but can never work in politics again!
No assets will be seized or family members harmed.
However, those traitors who for whatever reason voluntarily betrayed their country, would be required to accept banishment only for themselves, while their family members, (assuming they were innocent) would receive full immunity from the State.
Would this work?
Or is the political system in Greece so corrupt, that no positive changes can occur?
Jim, are you mad? I am thinking these sellout politicians must all be publicly tarred and feathered, and that’s being kind. They must be punished severely including their family members; banished from Greece forever whilst giving all their wealth to the Greek people where it belongs!
This is the only positive change I see on the Greek horizon…..
