PHOTO: The shameful “Archons of Disaster” honor Zelensky… Where will they be hiding when, soon, the Ukraine War enters its final phase –  the defeat of their policies of supporting the Ukro-Nazis?

EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). Finally, after more than three weeks, a video of the speeches and the disgraceful spectacle surrounding the presentation of the so-called “Beacon of Hope” Award to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox National Shrine has surfaced. The footage confirms precisely what Helleniscope and the overwhelming majority of Orthodox faithful have been denouncing from the beginning: the outrageous transformation of a sacred Orthodox institution, built upon the ashes of September 11, into a platform for political propaganda and the glorification of a deeply controversial foreign leader. How do we know opposition to this scandal extends far beyond a handful of critics? Not merely from the approximately 2,000 signatures gathered in protest, but from the thousands of overwhelmingly negative comments posted across social media, expressing the anger, disappointment, and profound sense of betrayal felt by Orthodox Christians. The message from these faithful could hardly be clearer: THE CHURCH HAS NO PLACE IN POLITICS!

The Orthodox faithful have emphatically rejected the Ukraine policies of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Archbishop Elpidophoros, policies that have contributed to a devastating schism within world Orthodoxy. Yet rather than acknowledge these divisions, the organizers of this shameful event chose to celebrate the very political and ecclesiastical agenda that has torn Orthodox communities apart. Speaker after speaker showered Zelensky with extravagant praise, invoking Christian faith, freedom, human dignity, and even the sacred memory of September 11 to legitimize an unmistakably political spectacle. The irony is staggering: religious leaders preaching unity while disregarding the anguish and objections of their own faithful; proclaiming themselves on the “right side of history” while dismissing those who dare to question their judgment. St. Nicholas was rebuilt as a house of prayer, remembrance, and spiritual refuge—not as a stage for geopolitical grandstanding, political hero worship, or the promotion of an ecclesiastical agenda that has divided the Orthodox world. The video now allows everyone to witness this disgraceful spectacle and judge for themselves.

In the video below, please note that some, like Paulette Poulos, to her credit, do NOT mention Zelensky at all!!
