In the aftermath of the assassination attempt and the most consequential Republican Convention in recent history, it would be shortsightedness not to observe that a conscious, organized, and determined team for the Re-Founding of the Republic has been formed around President Trump. The term “Refounding of America” has been sometimes used in other ways to denote the effort by the Left to change the foundations of this republic in ways that fit their “progressive” ideology. In our case, a team effort is underway to “re-baptize” America to the principles expressed 250 years ago, around the times of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the drafting of the US Constitution. The number one goal is disabling and dismantling the deep/administartive state”, the main element undermining the will of the people and subverting the democratic process as established by the Constitution.
We can distinguish two sets of “Re-founders” around President Trump: First, the close advisers of the 2016 campaign, some of whom remained as advisers or served as officials in the first term 2016-2020. There are so many advisers, and so we need a method to distinguish the who should bear the title “Re-Founder of the Republic.” The means to distinguish them is given a) by their writings, work, and overall influence towards the “goal” of returning America to its Foundations. b) In our case, the “Deep State” offered us an easy path to naming these “Re-Founders” by prosecuting them. Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, and Peter Navarro belong to this category and I would add Ben Carson, who was not prosecuted by the Deep State, mainly because of his powerful messages. Others, like Michael Flynn and Roger Stone, were also prosecuted and could be added to this category.
Second, we have the fairly recent addition of Re-founders during the last year or so. Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and the now-elected Vice Presidential candidate, J.D. Vance, are the frontrunners of this second group. It is essential to know that the last two were classmates and personal friends at Yale Law School, and they share quite a few other biographical elements. For example, a background in investment in the technology sector, growing up in Ohio, etc… Should I also mention that J.D.Vamce’s wife, Usha, a Yale Law graduate, is of Indian descent? There are too many commonalities to miss. We should also mention the active presence of the Trump family and especially Don Junior in attracting them in the close Trump circle.
The first group of “Re-founders” may have had a good sense of what was wrong with the country in 2012-2016 and may also be well aware of the illicit work of the deep/administrative state. However, they were somehow surprised by their narrow victory and were unprepared to take over power and achieve the goals Donald Trump and they had in mind. They achieved a lot in the economy and foreign policy just because of the power of the presidency. But they were undermined and overtaken by the many deep state operatives in the administration in most everything else and particularly in starting the “draining of the DC swamp.”
This is not the case with the second set of “Refounders” of America, who are ready to cooperate with some of the first group of Re-Founders in the renewed effort to drain the Swamp. This time, judging from what we have heard mostly as “surround noise” in the Republican Convention, there seems to be a more organized effort and a lot of planning that has been done. The selection of J.D. Vance as V.P. shows a lot going on in the background. No I will not discuss “Project 2025” or platforms like “American Compass.” The “Re-Founders” are, I am sure, intelligent enough not to reveal any specific plans. However, there is always discussion about what should be done to change the course of America.
One thing is sure: All these names and platforms mentioned here and others not referred to have one thing in common: Reverse the many decades of America sliding away from its founding principles of individual freedom and the market economy (the monopolies we are experiencing in the social media are undermining our society and politics), reverse the involvement in foreign wars (America is NOT the policeman of the world and has to gain more as a nation from business than from war) and finally, America has to return to its founding democracy instead of the subversion of the constitutional system from the “administrative elites.”
All of this is certainly dependent on the outcome of the November elections and the failure of any “deep state” efforts to either assassinate/imprison/disable Donald Trump before November or thwart his transition process and assumption of power in January. With the divine intervention we all witnessed a week ago, we should be confident we are heading in the right direction, but we should also be vigilant, now more than ever, and actively oppose any efforts to derail this course back to the Founding Principles of America.

I would not call these modern distinguished individuals as the Re-Founders of the Republic. The original founding fathers were all disciples of ancient Greek thinkers, bar none. They displayed their vision of a new republic in writings called the Federalist Papers. This Golden Age of American democracy gave fruit to the birth of a Constitutional Republic, bearing a Constitution in 1789 and still active to this day, making it the oldest active Constitution in the world.
The Republic constantly needs defenders of the Constitution. I would rather brand these distinguished individuals as today’s Defenders of the Constitutional Republic.
We the People have an obligation to preserve the republic in its original form. The democrats’ agenda through their woke ideology plans to radically alter the very foundation of this republic. We the People have our inspirational and political leader in Donald J. Trump, sent by the Almighty and protected by the Almighty.
In God We Trust is as relevant now as it was when the Republic was founded. The Constitutional Republic is founded once. The Constitutional Republic is defended every day. We are witnessing a second Golden Age of this Constitutional Republic, reinforcing the same ancient Greek-inspired democratic principles that the original founders envisioned and adopted.
As you can see I also use the term “rebaptizing”… the term Re-founding is mostly misused by the left as I explained. But I think it is useful in our case because of the new realities of our time – and above all the new technology already in place and the one coming (A.I.) Our freedoms have to be re-framed and re-established in view of these new realities. Many of these “Re-founders” have experience in these new technologies.
We also have to take into account the deadly enemy we are fighting in this Refounding process. 250 years ago it was the colonial power of England. Today we are facing the even more deadly globalist powers entrenched in the political, economic and social system of America. Victory against those will lead to redounding of America and will have global repercussions much more than in 1776.
Only the the same ancient Greek-inspired democratic principles that the original founders envisioned and adopted can preserve this constitutional republic. These 2,500+ years-old ideals do not age with time. The Holy Scriptures have their Creation. As devout Christians we preserve, defend and continue the beliefs endowed upon us by our Creator.
Democracy also has its creators. We can term its preservation and continuation any way we deem fit. The radical Left’s woke agenda is the antithesis of not only the principles of democracy, but it also goes against our Christian principles. The two are intertwined. In his lecture at the University of Regensburg on September 12, 2006 Pope Benedict eloquated the same:
“At this point, as far as understanding of God and thus the concrete practice of religion is concerned, we are faced with an unavoidable dilemma. Is the conviction that acting unreasonably contradicts God’s nature merely a Greek idea, or is it always and intrinsically true? I believe that here we can see the profound harmony between what is Greek in the best sense of the word and the biblical understanding of faith in God. Modifying the first verse of the Book of Genesis, the first verse of the whole Bible, John began the prologue of his Gospel with the words: “In the beginning was the λόγος”. This is the very word used by the emperor: God acts, σὺν λόγω, with logos. Logos means both reason and word – a reason which is creative and capable of self-communication, precisely as reason. I am entering my 8th Decade and have watched many, many Conventions-both Republican and Democrat. Never have I witnessed a candidate of either party do his “cross”– JD, a 2019 convert to the catholic faith did his “cross” on several occasion at this week’s convention. It looked sincere– it set an example– it was sunshine– it sent a message against the “wokeness”- against taking a kneel– against political correctness- against marching for blm as a “show”- It symbolized the statement that, you have to stand up for something greater than yourself!
