The failed Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, whose party polls at about 20% right now and is bound, along with the other post-1974 dinosaurs PASOK and SYRIZA, to be trashed in the garbage can of history, is to be honored tomorrow at the warmongering “group-think tank” Atlantic Council… This will not be the first time the Atlantic Council honors him – our main photo is from his previous speech there a few years ago… He will be given the “Global(-ist) Citizen Award by another monumental globalist, Pfizer CEO and Pandemic Exploiter, Albert (Akis) Bourla.
To understand how much of an “honor” this is, please take a look at Atlantic Council’s Board of Directors, where all seven former CIA Directors still alive serve—quite by coincidence!! What is the main objective of the “(Group) Think Tank”? To fight disinformation!! Where do they take their money? From the Pentagon, all branches of the US Army, Navy and Marines, the State Dept., all kinds of CIA undercover organizations, etc etc… They also got a lot of money from Burisma, yes the Ukrainian natural gas giant that was bribing Hunter Biden among others with sinecures!!…

The honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on September 23, 2024, on the sidelines of United Nations (UN) General Assembly week in New York City. - Prime Minister Mitsotakis of the Hellenic Republic for his remarkable career in public service and the private sector, as well as his leadership of Greece and in transatlantic, European, and global affairs.
- President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Meloni for her groundbreaking role as Italy’s first female prime minister, her strong support of the European Union and the transatlantic alliance, and her 2024 chairmanship of the Group of Seven (G7).
- CJ Group Vice Chairwoman Miky Lee for her decades-long leadership in injecting vision for cultural businesses at CJ Group, her influence in globalizing Korean culture, including producing the Academy Award-winning film Parasite, and her commitment to promote artistic storytelling on the world stage.
Introducers for the evening will include President William Samoei Ruto of the Republic of Kenya; Pfizer Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Albert Bourla; SpaceX Chief Engineer and Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk; and Paramount Global Chair Shari Redstone. The weakness of a Greece all by itself is not a pleasant thing to contemplate.
It will be far preferable for Greece to have allies, even though some of them have not always been good to Greece.
If Greece does not align with the nations of the Atlantic Council, who could Greece align with? Russia? No, there have been hard feelings between Greece and Russia and so Russia is unlikely to be able or willing to do much for Greece in a crisis.
So, let Mitsotakis get his honors.
The point here is that Greece has no say in its foreign policy at all. But when the critical times come and, let’s say a couple of missiles hit Souda Bay or Alexandroupolis, Greece will be left alone to deal with the issue on its own… We have seen what alliance means not only in Cyprus in 1974 but also in Imia in 1987.
Those missile strike possibilities exist, but would be far more likely if Greece had no allies.
Greece has no allies This was the case in 1922, 1955, and 1974. The US and NATO wish to destroy Russia. They will not alienate Turkey because they still value Turkey.
Germany has been selling submarines to Turkey and NATO has refused to condemn Turkish threats to invade Greece. The policy of all Greek governments in attempting to gain favor with the west has failed miserably. Greece should have negotiated with Russia to form some kind of alliance.
Keep in mind also that Turkey has supported ISiS and Al Quada in Syria, Libya, and Nagorno Karabakh. NATO does not care because they hate Russia more than jihadists and terrorists. The west will never support Greece over Turkey.
Greece’s pro western policy makers are lesding Greece to disaster through their dependence on the anti Hellenic and anti Orthodox Western world.

Relations between Greece and Russia are bad because Mitsotakis, Patriarch Bartholomew, Archbishops Ieronymos and Elpidophoros destroyed them. Russia was friendly to Greece and buried the Annan plan for Cyprus in 2004. Russophobia is a sickness which Greek leaders have adopted to please their foreign masters.
How many western leaders support Greece against Turkish aggression? Zero. Russophobia always benefits Turkey. This is true today as it was in 1853 during the outbreak of the Crimean War and the Cold War.
Greek leaders have chosen badly by aligning with the west over Russia. And supporting Ukraine at the expense of Greece’s national defense is an act of treason by the Mitsotakis government.
Most appalling are how the Greek Churches compromised themselves under American dictates by entering into communion with the blasphemous schismatic entity in Ukraine and are complicit in the persecution of the real Ukrainian Church.
A direct question for those who did not like my earlier post here: Do you want Greece to leave NATO now?

John – this question has been answered once already after 1974 and the results were not that good. We all accept that. I remind you that Turkey and Israel (the first a NATO member and the second tied at the hip with the US) did never apply sanctions on Russia. Are the stupid? Answer that question first if you want to be fair.
I also remind you that a few months ago even Dora Bakoyiannis, a former foreign minister of Greece and Kyriakos Mitsotakis sister, admitted loudly and publicly that it was a big mistake the way Greece and the West acted in Ukraine. Is she wrong too?

Don’t feel that you are the only one that believes that Greece is correct in sticking with the West. Throughout history, Greece has been on the right side of history, by sticking with the West. Greece and Russia were friendly and Russia had helped Greece during her revolutionary war. Along with France and Great Britain. Unfortunately, Putin’s Russia has become a bully, with no redeeming qualities. No nation, especially a small one wants anything to do with Russia. Look at all the Balkan countries. They were Soviet allies. Now they are in NATO. You haven’t heard of anyone wanting to go back. Greece had left NATO in 1974, because of the Cyprus invasion, which invasion was Greece’s fault, let’s not forget. But then wanted to get back, which she eventually did.
Turkey, being a much larger country, has the luxury of playing the West against Russia. Greece does NOT. Greece belongs with the West. Not everything is roses. But it is better than the alternative
Size is not the issue here. Turkey has patriotic leadership – Greece has sellouts.

Now what about my question on NATO? Should Greece stay in it or go?
I say that Greece should hold its nose and stay.
I agree in general – but the Greek policy since 1952 has been with NATO but Russia’s door should stay open or half open. Only Mitsotakis closed Russia’s doors completely out of so many leaders of Greece.

Greece is part of the EU and NATO. She has to fall in line with their policies. She did not have a choice on sanctions. When a country is part of an alliance, they can’t act unilaterally. They can’t pick and choose what they think is best. Turkey is able to do that because the West does not want to “lose” her. She is in a better strategic position than Greece, has a larger economy and has the second biggest army in NATO. And she is not part of the EU.
Yes, Greece should stay in NATO. No need for her to hold her nose. She’s in a good place.
