EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis). We noted yesterday that Russia has over 1.2 million citizens of Russian-Jewish descent living in Israel. Today, the Russian ambassador to Israel, Anatoly Viktorov, urged all Russian citizens “to leave temporarily and go back to Russia or to other countries.” This was after the Russian Foreign Ministry issued several warnings to Israel to avoid attacking Iran and even to leave Lebanon and quit its attacks there. Israel had hit Tartous, the Russian Naval Base in Syria, and Hmeim, the Russian Airbase there, forcing the activation of Russian air defenses. The Israeli invasion in Lebanon is failing miserably, as we are learning constantly; Hezbollah’s Army is very well trained and is causing many deaths and casualties to the invading Israeli Army.
