New York City, NY – In a stunning ceremony at the Archdiocesan Church of the Holy Trinity, John Catsimatidis Jr., son of Greek-American billionaire John Catsimatidis, married his beloved Megan Fitzpatrick.
The wedding was a family affair, with Father Alex Karloutsos, a close friend of the family and godfather to the groom, officiating. The ceremony was conducted in both Greek and English, mirroring the couple’s cultural backgrounds. Notably, Father Alex Karloutsos also officiated at the weddings of John Catsimatidis and his wife Margo 36 years ago and Anthoula Catsimatidis, the groom’s niece, last year.
The bride, Megan Fitzpatrick, looked radiant in her ivory wedding dress, accompanied by her mother, Elizabeth Mojillo. The wedding party included bridesmaids and groomsmen, among them Andria Catsimatidis, a bridesmaid of the couple.
The wedding had a strong Greek element, with the couple arriving at the church in a white Bentley shortly before 5 pm. The reception was held at the prestigious Pierre Hotel on Fifth Avenue, with a black-tie dress code. The reception hall was beautifully decorated with white flowers, crystal chandeliers, and candlesticks.
The evening featured a Greek celebration, including a syrtaki dance and traditional Greek music. The event was a testament to the couple’s happiness and the enduring strength of their families.
