Helleniscope has been receiving credible information in the last few hours that Antonis Samaras, former PM of Greece, who was expelled four days ago from the governing New Democracy Party by Kyriakos Mitsotakis and was on his way to the United States, has met with President Donald Trump!! We await further verification of the news but judging by the surrounding circumstances, it makes perfect sense!.. We suspected this eventuality when we learned that Mr. Samaras was coming to America… We will update you as we learn more – stay tuned… In the meantime, here are these surrounding circumstances:
President Trump’s resounding landslide victory has already had visible worldwide effects, especially in Europe, where the rising right-wing, conservative, patriotic parties, from France to Italy to Hungary, Slovakia, and elsewhere, feel a great affinity with the MAGA movement. They were also felt thoroughly in Greece, despite the widespread brainwashing by the Greek puppets of the globalist media, who were daily repeating the lies of the – now discredited and defunct – American mainstream media. The Greeks were fed the same unworthy “polls” and all the tricks of the leftist disinformation; Wokism’s total collapse globally created a new explosive political landscape.
In Greece, an additional political reason has recently created extra tension. It was the treasonous acts by foreign minister Mr. Gerapetritis and PM Mitsotakis, who were (and are) ready to surrender sovereign rights to Turkey – against international law. Mr. Gerapetritis himself, PM’s sister, and former foreign minister, Mrs. Dora Bakoyianni, have made numerous statements in the same direction. Antonis Samaras (usually in coordination with former PM Costas Karamanlis) has expressed their disapproval loudly several times in the last few months, until, three days ago, Samaras was expelled from the party by its leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The above should not overshadow that the MAGA patriotic message was widely appreciated in a country overwhelmed by public debt incurred by corrupt politicians, a country whose borders are overrun by illegal immigrants, a country with a staunch Orthodox Christian tradition where the globalists’ puppets (Mitsotakis, Kasselakis, Androulakis, and the rest) applied their “woke” agenda by passing the widely opposed same-sex marriage bill.
The patriotic side of the New Democracy party has already abandoned the Mitsotakis leadership and filled the ranks of three smaller parties (“Elliniki Lysi”—Velopoulos, “Foni Logikis”—Latiniopoulou, “Niki”—Natsios), which got a combined 17% in the latest Euro-Elections June of this year and kept gathering steam since. Inside the governing New Democracy party, a substantial (maybe the dominant) faction is led by former prime ministers Costas Karamanlis and Antonis Samaras.
I should note here that Costas Karamanlis, during his term as prime minister, allegedly suffered an assassination attempt in 2008 in Athens, likely by the same warmongering, anti-Russia, deep state actors who tried to kill President Trump… This assassination attempt was by the CIA station in Athens, the same station that had organized a now-proven wiretapping operation against the then prime minister of Greece.
I should also remind you that just before the Nov. 5 elections, Mike Pompeo was flown to Athens on a private jet to meet PM Mitsotakis. The prime minister was hoping that Mike Pompeo, a leader of the DC warmongering party, would have a central position in the new administration. He was proven wrong as Mike Pompeo was dismissed early and in a very rough manner by President-elect Trump. Mitsotakis was left hanging: All his supposed allies in the Greek and Greek-American media, all his diplomats in America, all the “lobbyists” he has personally been “taking care of” (and let me be specific with some names here: Manatos, Zemenidis, Diamataris, Karloutsos among others) – all of them were misleading him to the “wrong side of history” – to the loser, Kamala Harris… And left him with no ties to the incoming administration.
Samaras and Karamanlis are aware of the current political “vacuum” and the opportunities arising ahead. The new Trump administration’s likely dismantlement of the Deep State actors and the potential repair of US-Russia relations, possibly by a “new Yalta” agreement, will necessitate a new government in Greece, a country that had a critical role in the original 1945 Yalta agreement.
In the new Europe that will rise in 2025, prime minister of Hungary Victor Orban, a close Trump ally, will have a central role to play. Only that his country, Hungary, has a much smaller geopolitical significance than Greece… The Trump administration will need someone in Greece that they can communicate with – not a globalist “woke” puppet like Mitsotakis.

Greek ‘Conservatives’ Expel Former PM From Party Amid Critiques of ‘Woke’ Agenda
ATHENS, GREECE (AP) – Former Greek Prime Minister and lawmaker Antonis Samaras was expelled from the ruling New Democracy party over his persistent criticism of government policies.
Samaras, 73, a hard-line nationalist, has criticized Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ approach to negotiations with Turkey, which he has likened to appeasement. He also strongly disapproved of government policy that he considered too “centrist” or “woke,” especially the decision to legislate in favor of same-sex marriage earlier this year.
The government appeared particularly irked by a Samaras interview to be published in Sunday newspaper To Vima in which he called for the ouster of Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis over his conduct of negotiations with Turkey.
“Mr. Samaras … did not just express opinions. He expressed his complete disagreement with all governing policies. Moreover, he adopted extreme lies (about the foreign minister) in an unbecoming and provocative manner,” said government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis in announcing Samaras’ expulsion Saturday afternoon.
Samaras responded in a lengthy statement, saying, “Arrogance and loss of nerve explain Mitsotakis’ move. Cut off from the party base, he is leading a party that scarcely resembles New Democracy.”
It is not the first time that Samaras has clashed with a Mitsotakis. In 1992, then-Prime Minister Constantine Mitsotakis, father of the current premier, dismissed Samaras as foreign minister over policy differences regarding the name dispute with what was then the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the present North Macedonia.
In 1993, Samaras and a few like-minded lawmakers left New Democracy, bringing down the Mitsotakis government and ushering in more than 10 years of socialist rule. Samaras founded his own short-lived party, Political Spring.
Samaras succeeded former Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis as head of the conservatives in 2009, but left the post after an electoral defeat in 2015.
“This time, history will not repeat itself. The government majority continues its course, without Mr. Samaras,” said the governent spokesman. “No one has the right to mess with the country’s stability in these troubled times,” said Marinakis.
The ruling conservatives have a slight majority in Parliament, with 155 lawmakers out of 300. But Samaras has a number of supporters among that group, as does the now retired Karamanlis.
In the interview, Samaras proposed Karamanlis should replace President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, a left-of-center former judge whose five-year term ends in early 2025. She had been elected by Parliament with Mitsotakis’ backing.
The wind is blowing harder. Much harder these days.
“President Trump’s resounding landslide victory”” Trump has been saying that he has a mandate from the voters and he is so proud that this time, he received the majority of the popular vote.
However, his margin of victory against Harris has been shrinking by the day, as more votes are counted from the Western states. It has fallen to below 50% and leads Harris by 1.6%. I’m sure that readers on this Trump loving site will agree that this margin of victory, due to shrink even further, is anything but “resounding” or anything close to a mandate.
What a sore loser!! Wait until 2026 when hopefully there will be a voter ID among other measures and then us how many REAL votes the democrats got.
Yes, keep adding ballots like you did in 2020 and hopefully you will be able to recover the 10 million gap with the 82 million ballots (not to be confused with votes) that Biden got… see? You realised you lost big so you pretended to accept your loss the stupid Republicans either got complacent or your collaborating RINOs managed to steal 4 Senate seats! (Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin) and are almost on the path to steal the Pennsylvania Senate seat! Finally at least the election thieves came out and admitted to their crime publicly! Like when Biden admitted on CSPAN that he fired the Ukraine Prosecutor going after his son Hunters Borysma energy company in the Ukraine.
I would like to tone down the enthusiasm on Antonis Samaras. Samaras and his so called “patriotic” factions could and should have stopped the vote on “gay marriage” by withdrawing their confidence in the Mitsotakis government and cause new elections. He didn’t. But in 1993 he served as the agent of the CIA who wanted to topple the Konstantinos Mitsotakis (Father of the current prime minister Kiriakos Mitsotakis) which was starting on a similar of cutting down the humongous Government spending and get Greece on the opposite direction of bankruptcy… Due to Samaras sabotaging th e 1993 liberal/conservative New Democracy government we ended up on a path to bankruptcy which eventually was brought about when Giorgakis Papandreou (roommate of Samaras in Amherst) forced a bankruptcy on Greece by stealing the 2009 election with patently false promises from one of the very few valiant Greek Politicians Kostakis Karamanlis (who almost got assassinated by the CIA). Enough with the traitors and CIA agents from Massachussets traitors enough! Thankfully the other CIA agent Kasselakis got… Kanceled! The problem Hellenism is not our people but our servile leaders.
We have been particularly critical of Samaras because of his 2014 summersalt: instead of taking a truly rational and patriotic position and take Greece out of the euro he succumbed to pressures, domestic and international, and the country is now loaded with a debt of $400 billion. But in the current circumstances, since there is no serious opposition, he can act as a stop to selling out Greece’s sovereign rights.
I don’t think taking Greece out of the Euro which would have led to massive immediate impoverishment of the Greek working class population and make Greece easy prey to massive colonial takeover is the patriotic thing to have done. That’s what the traitor and should be court martialed Soros puppet Baroufakis tried to do. Entering both the EU and the EURO should have been blessings for Greece… instead our corrupt, servile and incompetent politicians the complicit idiotic media/academic/pundits and the ignorant citizens turned it into a curse… But we cannot blame the gift if we misused it.
The fact that any candidate for prime minister is coming first to the US to be chrismated is ridiculous and confirms that Greece is not a dominant country.
By the way mr. Stamatakis, your talking about puppets brought me to mind ms. Latinopoulou, that is being promoted from all the Greek media, including yours now. What is the force behind ms. Latinopoulou that is pushing her, although she violated the elections legislation? She couldn’t even gather 200 signatures!
Unfortunately such is the quality of the Greek political elites. Karamanlis (senior) stayed here for a year before rising to power in Greece in the mid1950s. And everyone else since then was an agent of American interests of some sort or another. Much of it has to do with the fact that America and Greece, as maritime powers, are natural allies. The distinction was made very eloquently by PM Costas Karamanlis in 2007-07: “I am America’s friend, not America’s slave”. About Latinopoulou, I am not sure about any illegalities but I have heard that a wealthy businessman backs her. So what’s new in politics? But her positions are very conservative and patriotic and her natural appeal fantastic. Also, she is not part of any mafia-like political families and she has a clean past. Politics is the art of the feasible not the art of wishful thinking.
