SUMMARY: In this exciting video Fr. Emmanuel Lemelson scratches beneath the surface of Elon Musk’s influence on global politics and finds a web of ideological and potentially dangerous underpinnings. His engagement with Effective Accelerationism, a philosophy shaped by Nick Land, casts a long shadow, especially as he weaves through the corridors of power in the Trump administration and forges ties with global leaders like Putin and Zelensky. This beckons us to consider the chilling implications of Musk’s vision as it threatens to upend technology, governance, and the very fabric of society itself. Dark and esoteric elements intertwine with these ideologies, offering a stark contrast to traditional Christian beliefs. With such a troubled figure at the helm, we must ask: what are the stakes for democracy, technology, and humanity? The answers may be more unsettling than we dare to imagine.

  1. Well, certainly everything is possible and Fr. Lemelson makes a lot of good points. I still think that the democrats would have made things worse and I am sure Elon could have inserted himself in that administration too because of the technologies provided in Ukraine, which THEY asked for.

But lets remember how God changes the hearts of men if He wants too, like He did with Apostle Paul, St. Martyr Longinus the Centurion etc It is up to all of us when the end will come. Orthodoxy is growing and as long as each one of us follow God we have nothing to fear. These people are only men. God is with us but we have to choose to be with Him too… If Musk would not be around, we would have another Musk… At the end the technology will culminate, so not a surprise.

We can never idolize anyone, including Trump and Musk. They are men, just like us. If the 3rd world war will come, it is because it will be allowed by God, for our sins, not because Trump and Musk allowed it. And I am sorry, but the so called democracy no longer exists in this country. There is a lot of brainwashing and propaganda starting from Kindergarden.

    • Sandy, I have to agree with you. Had Kamala won, things would have been infinitely worse. Think of playing Russian Roulette with all six chambers full. With Trump, it’s only one –maybe two–chambers full.

In other words, I’ll take my chances.

Having said that, the idea that America is a “democracy” is a heresy first propounded by Woodrow Wilson in a brainwashing attempt to justify our horrendous intrusion in the Great War. 1,000 American doughboys died each day until that war ended. America was founded as a constitutional Republic.

True, we had become more democratic with the 17th Amendment, which made Senators stand for popular election. Having said that, the popular will of the people has been attenuated ever since the Federal judiciary and the administrative state became more powerful. Truth be told, until the election of Trump in 2016, the American people had had their will thwarted almost at every turn.

      • Unfortunately America esp. since WWII and the rise of the administrative state is an aristocracy or oligarchy – which term to use is debatable.

  2. I must say that Fr Lemelson’s podcast is very enlightening. Perhaps Musk can be influenced by Orthodoxy, thereby taming his philosophy?

    • George:
What we should do is pray for everyone including Trump and Musk. We are unfortunately orthodox just in the name and most of us don’t do OUR part. We have clear examples of how God protected His people when they repented and turned disasters away from them. Of course, we have those examples also when people chose not to repent, and they got what they deserved. So before anything bad comes our way, we should all pray rather than blame Trump and Musk for it. Because unfortunately we have it coming after funding wars and slaughter here and in other places. We forgot about the Creator and the results are devastating like in Ukraine and Russia, orthodox against orthodox, and here slaughtering children through abortions and mutilating them through trans surgeries. And let’s not forget about Gaza. What can be more of an abomination to God and how can anyone even for a second, promote this kind of “democracy” around to world, and even point out that we have to spread “democracy” around the world?

  4. If I may add one more thing, I am very impressed by Fr Emanuel and Presbytera Theodora. I pray that their ministry prospers.
