Numerous signs of support for Iran from Russia, China, Pakistan, and others. American air tankers and other forces rush to the Middle East. Europe and NATO pretend to want peace, while Britain has an aircraft carrier and planes in the immediate vicinity.

The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier rerouted from the South China Sea to the Middle East on Monday, a move that will put two U.S. aircraft carriers, in addition to the one British, in the region as the conflict worsens between Israel and Iran. Patriot and THAAD air defenses, supported by American assets, are actively intercepting Iranian missiles and drones heading towards Israel. U.S. Air Force has also deployed dozens of tanker aircraft to Europe to support operations in the region. Finally, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed additional defensive forces are being positioned to protect U.S. assets and personnel.
As the West rushes to support Israel, it becomes clear that Russia, China, and others will support Iran.
- Russia, in addition to offering invaluable diplomatic support to Iran, will undoubtedly provide defensive assistance: the two countries signed an extensive defense pact last January, which has begun to be implemented. How fast, we will soon find out. Russia received the valuable “Shahed” drones from Iran at the beginning of the Ukraine war. Moreover, it absolutely needs Iran for the North-South corridor connecting St.Petersburg to the Iranian Port of Bandar Abas in the Indian Ocean.
- China has established a $400 billion trade relationship with Iran and is obtaining 40% of its oil at very cheap, below-market prices from it. It also supplies Iran with plentiful dual-use materials, which the Iranians use to produce an unlimited amount of missiles and drones in underground facilities. This part is bound to accelerate.
- Pakistan, called for all Islamic countries t unite in support of Iran against Israel. As a next doo neighbor there is an unlimited amount of option to offer its help.
- Bangladesh, Kuwait, UAE, Oman and other states seem to be ready to side with Iran.
Trump is trying a wild balancing act…
President Trump has a long and complex history of sending mixed signals about Russia’s role on the global stage, particularly about the G-7 (Group of Seven) — a group of major advanced economies (which is now smaller than the BRICS in terms of GDP and other measurements).
Today at the G-7, he advocated for Russia’s readmission to the G-7, (and he refused to sign the common statement on Iran)…stating he wants Russia to be part of the group (which was known as the G-8 when Russia was included). He has argued that excluding Russia hampers the group’s ability to address global issues effectively, particularly those involving Russia, such as arms control, Middle East diplomacy, or energy.
Downplayed Russia’s aggression in Ukraine: While in office, Trump often seemed reluctant to criticize Russia for its 2014 annexation of Crimea — the act that led to its suspension from the then-G-8 — and at times blamed previous U.S. administrations or European leaders for the situation.
Despite his rhetoric, his administration did approve sanctions on Russia and provided lethal aid to Ukraine, which the Obama administration had declined to do.
- Recently, he threw out his promise to end the Ukraine war “in 48 hours” and could not bring himself to order the US military to stop assisting Ukraine.
It was a losing strategy by Trump that continued similarly against Iran: Trump attempted to restart peace and non-nuclear proliferation talks with Iran, using a mix of threats and diplomatic overtures. However, Iran was not fooled:
Iran rejected direct talks, viewing Trump’s approach as insincere and dangerous.
Tehran distrusted Trump, citing his withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal.
Israeli airstrikes on Iranian sites, praised by Trump, shattered any remaining negotiation momentum.
BOTTOMLINE: Trump and, to a greater extent, the whole leadership of the “Combined West” refuse to accept the reality that they have lost the arms race against Russia and China, not to mention the “real economy race”. Hypersonic missiles from Russia (and China) can potentially sink U.S. aircraft carriers anywhere on Earth, and current U.S. defenses can’t reliably stop them. This poses a significant threat to American power projection, particularly in contested regions such as the Western Pacific and the Middle East. The U.S. still has some important advantages, but its hegemony is essentially over. If Trump accepts this reality, the US will still have a couple of decades with the dollar as the world’s reserve currency, which would help preserve a significant portion of its current power and make the transition to a “multipolar” world easier. But if he is pulled by the nose by the “Judeo-Christian” Zionists and enters the Israel-Iran War, God help us all…

This proves the President is as relevant as the King of England. I really did like Trump and believed he would follow Pat Buchanan’s view that America is a Republic, Not an Empire. It was pretty clear he lost control when Ukraine attacked the Russians on their territory a couple of weeks ago.
His support for Netanyahu is absolutely pathetic. What is happening here is basically a western Crusade much like the original Crusades. Arrogant westerners moving east and conquering Muslims and Orthodox Christians.
Look what they have done to
Palestinian and Syrian Christians. The Christian Zionists are as bloodthirsty as the original Crusaders. Trump has destroyed his legacy and Presidency.

Once Russia gets drawn into the war in the Middle East, Ukraine will be able to retake Crimea. This was all inevitable.
Crimea was never Ukraine’s – why are you hallucinating? How many times will I have to write that Ukraine as a name didn’t exist 150 years ago? What is this American allergy to learning proper history?
Crimea was transferred from the Soviet Union to Ukraine in 1954. Russia then illegally annexed it in 2014. Even after that annexation, Crimea was still considered the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under Metropolitan Onuphry. Technically it still is, although the Russian Church now claims jurisdiction of Crimea as of 2022. The owner of orthochristian.com website, Metropolitan Tikhon Shevkunov, is now the Russian bishop of Crimea.
You forget that there was a referendum in Crimea as well as in the four provinces of East Ukraine occupied by Russia and the people decided they want to be part of Russia. Those ignorant of history, like Mitsotakis, who visited Odessa a couple of times recently, have the gall to say that Odessa is “Ukrainian”… They ignore that the city was built by Catherine the Great in the late 1700s, they even ignore its rich Greek history. Does anyone remember that a full-scale Greek business school operated in Odessa in 1808? How cool s that little known fact? Or that the “Society of Friends” who organized the Greek Revolution started there? Does anyone know that even as we speak almost ALL of Odessa residents ignore the fascistic Ukrainian/Zelenski laws and continue to speak their native tongue, i.e. Russian?
Time to wake up and move away from your Western ignorance!!
