ΕΑΝ ΠΡΟΤΙΜΑΤΕ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ ΠΑΤΗΣΤΕ ΤΗ ΣΗΜΑΙΑ ΣΤΟ ΚΑΤΩ ΜΕΡΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΟΘΟΝΗΣ

A group of faithful Orthodox Christians defied the sweltering heat and humidity yesterday and gathered outside the GOARCH headquarters on East 79th Street. When standing for Faith and Hellenism, success is not measured by attendance but by whether the message is heard. And our message was heard.
In truth, the effort was successful before the protest even began. Together, we drafted a declaration that was viewed, shared, and discussed by thousands. The conversation had already started.
I knew the protest was making an impact when, just ten minutes after posting the “Call to Action,” I received a call from the special Community Liaison Officer of the 19th Precinct. He confirmed that no permit was required and assured me that the police would be present to ensure everyone’s safety. He would not say who had given him my phone number, but it was clear that people were paying attention.
This was not the first message delivered to the Archdiocese. Last October, nearly 1,000 demonstrators in Astoria sent a clear signal: the faithful are watching. They want the Church to return to the fundamentals of the Orthodox Faith, respect parish communities, and refrain from claiming a political mandate on behalf of all Greek-Americans, as they hold Turkish passports and are loyal to the Ottomans.
It does not matter whether just fifteen or twenty people stood outside the Archdiocese yesterday. Nor does it matter that only Lambros Karpodinis stood alone protesting Tsougarakiss a few days earlier. Throughout history, meaningful movements have often begun with a handful of people willing to speak when others remained silent.
Those who stood yesterday spoke for many more. They gave voice to concerns shared by countless faithful Orthodox Christians and Greek-Americans who believe that our Faith, traditions, and heritage are worth defending.
Money, influence, and institutional power may shape the narrative for a time, but they cannot overcome the truth. Orthodoxy has endured for two thousand years not because of wealth or political connections, but because faithful men and women preserved and defended Holy Tradition.
That is why yesterday mattered.
Not because of the number who attended, but because of the message they carried.
And a message rooted in truth will always outlast money, influence, and power.

Niko, very well said. I would like to add that in today’s Orthodox Observer, the archbishop stated that “A good shepherd doesnt sleep, always alert that not one sheep strays and gets lost”. Its up to him. Is he going to respond to our concerns, or is he ready to lose more “sheep” ? Words are cheap. The God that he represents here on earth hears him. And he will be held accountable,

People showed up to the rally, Elpidoktonos nor Bartholomeos has not lost any sleep. They do not care. They will continue to rob us and our children. There is no hope nor future so long as these two and their puppets, evil ELLAINE Allen, evil Tsoungarakis and the rest are in power. It’s a lost cause. Trust me.
Elaine Allen must be removed and replaced immediately and her presence at the archdiocese and involvement in the finances must be investigated by the authorities. She was in charge of the audit of the archdiocese in 2018. January. This means she knows the finances and ways of hiding the money better than anyone there. She is holding this audit information over the priests head and threatening to disclose things to the public. This is why they do not confront here. They have things to lose and this is how she profits from the Archdioxese makes lots of money
I think I am correct, unless you know otherwise. I do not believe Elpidiphoros did not visit St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church on June 11 like he has so many times. That would be a positive sign, if not change in ideology (I’m not that optomistic) but at least that he doesnt want that bad PR, or that he is “listening?”
He doesn’t give a damn about you, me or the church. He’s constantly testing waters. So he didn’t have a service at the gay place, and he chose to have a concert at in the other guys honor. Same crap. Was there anything spiritual or holy about the “patriarchs” Nameday. Nothing at all.

We wish we could have joined you outside the Archdiocese headquarters in New York. Sadly, many faithful Orthodox Christians look upon the present κατάσταση—indeed, the κατάντια—disgraceful condition…of our Church with deep sorrow. Our ancestors, who sacrificed so much to build it, would scarcely recognize what it has become.
I truly believe that the seed has been sown. Our “declaration” written by the Helleniscope Team will be the guide for action in the years ahead. This is the beginning of a long process to rid the GOA of all shady actors and return it to the tradition of our Faith.
PROPOSITION FOR FOLLOW UP.
We know that Elpidoktonos, so-called Bishop Nektarios, the archdiocesan pestilence and lap dog, Tsougarakis, plus all the established traitors to Hellenism and Orthodoxy, don’t give a rat’s behind for the faith they’re supposed to guard.
There is only one way to make sure they’ll listen to us. SHAME THEM. Every time they act in a way that’s contrary to our declaration, have people go to where they are going to liturgize and protest holding signs, calling them ANAXIOS and explain why they are anaxios.
I suggest that we all be on the look out for sins against our Christ inspired declaration and we assign pre-determined volunteers to go and stand on the sidewalk (never on private property), where they are appearing, at a church or gala or dinner,. position yourselves in a well situated, safe from traffic, make sure you have maximum visibility, It is PERFECTLY LEGAL. NNo need for permit. It is our first amendment right. Its America’s 250th birthday. Let’s exercise our right as Americans.
I have protested many times—three protests in the past two weeks alone— and believe me, most people are receptive and respectful to your message. Of course, We do NOT care how receptive people are. Many are brainwashed. Christ, the apostles and the martyrs didn’t care if they would be “liked” by their audience. They told the truth. Thank God this is not the Roman empire. No one’s going to arrest you. Even though today’s Anas and Kaiafas—read archbishop, bishops and tsougarakis—would love to see you in trouble. Dont let them intimidate you.
Last week I protested, by myself in front of the Graybriar’s Manor, in Moonnachie N.J. The parasite of the church, Tsougarakis, was being honored by the Hellenic Federation of N.J. for what, God only knows. I stood at the entrance to the parking lot, where everyone could see me, with a sign that said “Tsougarakis is anaxios”. The owner of the place, a rich old Greek ran out screaming at me, to move, the sidewalk is his property, or he’s calling the police. I laughed at his face and told him to go right ahead. He did call the police and they told him that I have every right to protest anything I want. He put his tail between his legs and slinked away in shame.
Tsougarakis came and took my picture, while I took his picture. He said “beautiful”, as if it was some kind of evidence. I told him that I thank him for calling me beautiful, but I can’t reciprocate, because I dont look at men, unlike him.
By calling them anaxios is the best formula to embarrass them. They’ll think twice next time they abuse our faith and heritage

OC, please refrain from criticizing people for the way they look. Never once did our Lord criticize people for the way they looked but rather for their hypocrisy. Your approach is rather juvenile. St Mary of Egypt would not have been much to look at .
I live in Greece, not in America, but we have similar problems here.
My two cents:
Nothing is gonna change, unless all these high-ranking people get removed.
And I am not talking about some tiny replacement, but dethronement and excommunication of all of them.
These people are not Turks, but free-masons and they hate the Church of Christ and nation-states.
We first need to have an Ecumenical Council that condemns free-masonry as a satanic religion/ideology/practice and the ecumenist ideologies as heresies. Along with other things that need to be resolved (abortion, organ donations, the heretic “council” of Kolimpari, etc, etc, etc).
And then we should get rid of them.
Even if they say they repent for all those countless horrors that they’ve committed, they should be removed from the clergy ASAP.
Protests are not gonna do anything.
At the very least, when protesting ask for an Ecumenical Council to get planned, and definitely don’t ask it from the greek-speaking priests and bishops… There is no hope there. Forward your requests towards the non-greek-speaking Orthodox Churches instead. We cannot pull ourselves out of this mess without external intervention.
