We received this information from one of our many readers in the Los Angeles area and we were completely dissapointed by the lack of science behind the actions of the officials of the parish. This summer St. Sophia Cathedral in Los Angeles opened up its camp for kids of all the parishes of Southern California to attend for $500 a week. A few nights ago at 10 pm they send this email requiring all children 13 and up to be vaccinated and show proof.

Our informers tell us that people were emailing the camp back canceling their reservations and asking for a refund in droves the texts and emails were flying. Even a parish priest canceled his reservation due to a child with an underlying condition that the pediatrician said he should not have the shot.
Nobody truly knows whose idea it really was and any questions fell on deaf ears. It is a shame that a church summer camp has turned this into a political issue. Things became even more disturbing when people learned that a few days ago a 13-year old boy died and they think it is due to the vaccine.
It is sad because the kids were really looking forward to going to camp…
Does Met. Gerasimos has something to say? Or, even better yet, something to do by intervening and correcting this madness?
