UPDATE (Wed. 11/03 10 am): GOARCH just announced that Pat. Bartholomew will be admitted to a hospital for an “angiogram”: “Following the results of a check-up at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, as well as consultations with doctors, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will be admitted to the hospital later this afternoon for an angiogram that will evaluate the need for stent placement.” Let me just say that when I have an angiogram and a vaccinated person in the same sentence I always think that it may be the negative side-effects of the vaccine –  already known to cause blood-clotting… Well, the doctors will give us the answer – if they are allowed…

On a cool Fall day in Lower Manhattan without one ray of sun, the gang of Church “Wolves” that pretend to be “leaders” performed the ceremony of desecrating Saint Nicholas at Ground Zero.   If anyone needed the definition of desecration today there would not be any need for a dictionary (link here) – as you would watch the video of the “thyranoixia” of the half-finished building that cost five times its original budget!! Maybe it would help to bring to mind the wonderful image we all had at the groundbreaking ceremony seven years ago, on October 18, 2014, condensed artfully by yours truly in a short piece (SAINT NICHOLAS AN ECUMENICAL SAINT ENGLISH AND GREEK) and based on the life and teachings of Saint Nicholas himself who embodied the meaning of Christianity in just three words: Love, Humility, Selflessness!! None of these beautiful Christian words were there today and instead, we had on display excess amounts of Vanity, Arrogance, and Selfishness…

Here are the facts that prove our assessment of the desecration:

  1. The total absence of the faithful from the ceremony, in contrast with the groundbreaking seven years ago when on top of the concrete slabs all over the foundations of the Church hundreds of people participated with great enthusiasm. Today we had maybe one hundred people mostly clergy, archons (in name only), a few dignitaries, and a few schoolchildren taken out of their classes…The faithful have excellent instincts and they know when they are fooled to e present even on the sidewalks… But even if they had chosen to go to the “thyranoixia” the “leadership” had already made it clear that this was only for the wealthy few – the whole “shrine” was barricaded and only those with permits were allowed in…

2. The desecration show was appropriately held in a half-finished space hastily covered with plastic all over… What was the real motive for this great rush? Only the vanity in the so-called “hierarchs'” heads will tell us… The whole picture was not only disrespectful to the Saint’s name but disrespectful to all of us… Saint Nicholas was all about humility and Bartholomew’s rush to “open the doors” all about vanity – just because he knows he will not be Patriarch next year and wanted to put a plaque with his name on the wall… (Note: We are still not sure whether the initial plans to put Bartholomew’s “icon” at the Narthex (lobby) of the Church have been canceled…)

3. At least one of the three “leaders” was opposing the charade of the “thyranoixia” before it was time, Karloutsos.  In the end, other selfish interests prevailed… Would Saint Nicholas himself be happy in this building, finished or not? Most certainly NO... Saint Nicholas would be the happiest in a little stone church with a well of water outside to quell the thirst of the passersby and a little room with plain tables to feed the hungry… This is what would make Saint Nicholas smile from up there in the heavens…  Instead, he was offered intrigue and selfishness and greed by the trio of “leadership”…

  • 4. Plenty of vanity overflowing in the gathering…  Karloutsos in fashionable form, all ready to retire and start the real-life he always wanted, that of a businessman… And a bunch of wealthy, Archons and non-archons, with Prince Nicholas of Greece (second from the right)… But someone was missing… Did anyone see John Catsimatidis, the VP of the Archdiocesan Council? He is probably sick of all the fake “religiosity”… He must also be tired to be pick-pocketed regularly by the “leaders”… How long will it take someone like Catsimatidis who worked hard all his life to recognize that “this is not Saint Nicholas”? That this charade has nothing to do with Christianity? 

Oh, here is John, he found solace in the company of Cardinal Dolan…

5. Did anyone see ANY Love, Humility, Selflessness?… Yes, we did see some of these – but not in the gathering for the desecration of Saint Nicholas… We saw it in the few faithful who were protesting against the “ANAXIOI”…

    • The Church that welcomes ALL so-called “faiths” of both this world and above, won’t allow entry UNLESS, one wears a face mask or carries a “Vaxx Card” for admittance. After all, this is New York, the state of the absurd. That’s right, it’s all about Religiosity, pomp and circumstance to perpetuate the charade for more money, corruption and ego boasting of public displays of disgraceful desecration.

      My question is this: Why do you not ever see a single photo of women amongst these church crowds of mafioso “Archons” and Hierarchical priests, AB’s, Metropolitans, Monks, etc.? Where are they? If the GOA is not a merely some exclusive “man’s club”, I don’t know what else fits the definition as such? We all know that women are the backbone of the not only the home, but the church as well. Woman, are the real workers on the front lines and behind the scenes, the child advocates for change in our educational system, the pita bakers, the food provisoners and servants of the church of Christ. Certainly not the men shown over and over vividly as the empty soulless black robes and suits they covet.

          To perhaps your point in attaching the million dollar donor list:
          In reviewing the names of the Founding Members “Club”, I see men who make the money, dictating just how they “spend” the money (it takes a Greek to know a Greek). Of course their are couples, husbands and wives listed as donors of the multi-millions, so that they can all join together in huffing and puffing their chests & breasts with Greek pride calling attention to their so-called “humanitarian gifting” for public purposes of display. But, the lack of scriptural knowledge in which God specifically says in Mathew 6:2-4 is blatantly abhorrent. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4. so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

          As always, a photo is worth a thousand words. Can anyone other than me can’t count more than a dozen women in attendance at the men’s dinner club follies?

          Seems to me, there are many Hillary Clinton-esq woman in attendance rubber stamping the hand that feeds them.

          I also don’t get why everyone is always dressed in black at these Greek functions? Black is a symbol of death, morbidity, depression, emptiness, a bottom less pit, etc., Most probably due to the fact that they are attending more of a funeral service for the death of the GOA than a celebration of eternal life.

  2. I am confused why there would be so many people showing up for P. Bartholomew’s public events like the liturgy that he missed, but now supposedly few people came to the consecration. Is it because the area was off limits or permit only?

    • Yes, this seems to have been the case. Either by the “leadership’s” choice or by OSHA regulations – and we need to question whether they had an OSHA permit to go inside this unfinished building es;p. without wearing hard hats…

      • OK, that explains it. I don’t know if there was enough space on the property for people to stand outside, but standing inside a work zone could be a safety/liability risk. It seems like they could have gotten more people. Maybe there was no OSHA permit or whatever though. It’s still odd that they would consecrate it before it’s so unfinished, right? The most obvious explanation is apparently that they wanted P. Bartholomew to be able to do it when he was still in the US.

  3. This is a complete disgrace to the faithful. Hierarchal lying, cheating, stealing, and coverups…do not enter this building. It’s the devil’s den. The faithful were fooled by the ravenous wolves. It’s so shameful.

  4. There is no King Nicholas of Greece, but the former King Constantine of Greece. (Don’t you mean Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark—Constantine’s son?)

  5. Alex looked sharp. $95 dollar haircut and beard trim for an extra $40 bucks. His robes were all bespoke with hand trimming. And new Ray Bans at $500 a pop. We all need to get on his gravy train. And he accepts cash and Bitcoin.

    Bart looks dazed and confused. He must be furious at this mess but wait— he created it.

    St. Nicholas Shrine will be a condemned mess in 5-8 years. The GOA doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of running and maintaining the building. They can’t even run an event or a souvlaki stand. A 100 M dollar white elephant!

  7. Heard from friend who was outside this fiasco bc they wouldn’t allow rest of us in that Protesters across street began yelling Anaxios to Bartholomew when his car drove up.
    Karloutsos took off alone at the end & didn’t go to coffee shop with rest of Istanbul gang
