EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis): The AHEPA Organization spent its first 100 years running away from any major political issue affecting Greece and Cyprus.  They were nowhere to be found during decades of struggle the Greek-American community gave for Cyprus and the Name of Macedonia.  Why? Because they were a non-profit and their Charter prohibited political action, they said.  They were afraid to lose their non-profit status, they explained.  Meanwhile, many other non-profit organizations (Jewish, Armenian, etc.) did everything possible to help their maternal homelands.  Not AHEPA… They were strictly “cultural” and “educational”…

Recently things seem to have changed. AHEPA re-emerged as a pawn of the State Department.  Obviously, they consulted different lawyers and changed their charter? They now appear to be supporting the relationship between the two countries only when it fits the plans of the State Department.  Many Jewish organizations are ready to show their teeth to the State Department establishment in order to support Israel’s causes.  Not AHEPA… They will support “deep state” causes (in their “screwed-up” mentality “deep state” equals America). And they do not give a dime for the real interests of Greece.

EXAMPLE:  Recently they visited Alexandroupolis – just because the “intelligence operative” Jeffrey Pyatt (sorry, he is not a diplomat and he proved it) said so. Our main photograph and the news below say it all… They visited American and Greek soldiers at the local base and stressed the geostrategic importance of Alexandroupolis. Oh, I forgot, they cut the ribbon for an AHEPA museum…

QUESTION: Three times over the last four months, both Vladimir Putin and Sergey Lavrov stressed to PM Mitsotakis and FM Dendias the dangers Alexandroupolis poses (and they named the town specifically), explaining that this base is aimed at Russia and it is a major threat to its security.  We are hoping a wider war will be avoided but in case our worst fears materialize, Alexandroupolis will be a prime target of Russian hypersonic missiles – and we all saw how effective these missiles were in Western Ukraine… What would AHEPA do when the missiles kill hundreds of Greeks and Americans in Alexandroupolis?  They would shamelessly start fundraising along with GOARCH, pocket some of the proceeds (GOARCH pockets 80% of fundraising!!), and send the rest of the money to the victims? Who would want their money then?

Do they realize that both Israel and Turkey stayed neutral in the Ukraine-Russia conflict? Why did they do that? Because they have a serious interest to keep their relationship with Russia on working terms, functional… Does AHEPA think that Greece, with 1,000 years of cultural and other ties with Russia and with the same common geopolitical enemy, Turkey, does not have the same or even bigger reasons to maintain a good relationship with Russia – despite a general disagreement with the invasion of Ukraine?

Does AHEPA realize how many times during the last 50 years the Russian intervention in the UN Security Council saved the day for Cyprus? What will they do next time we need Russia to oppose the British and State Dept. plans to make Cyprus an eparchy of Turkey? They will do NOTHING because they do not care about Cyprus. They only care about their country clubs and their “photo-ops”…

Dear AHEPA “leaders”, in the first year you tried some political action, your 101st year, you managed to damage the interests of Greece… Never mind that the puppet Mitsotakis did the same.  Your position as AHEPA, as an organization of the Greek Diaspora, should be based on different criteria.  Greek Diaspora has always been the “Noah’s Ark of Hellenism”.  But you are a clueless county club of people who do not really care about Greece or Hellenism.

One hundred years ago, at the year of your inception, after the Great Catastrophe of 1922, which was a result of the Bolsheviks of Russia helping Kemal Ataturk to expel millions of Greeks from Asia Minor by committing Genocide (many of the victims were your grandfathers!!), Winston Churchill, then a minister in the British government, was asked why the Allies did not support Greece against Ataturk – and his answer was stunning: “This is the price the useful idiots have to pay in order for our goals to be achieved!!!”… Do I need to remind you that in 1919 Greece had sent two full divisions of war-ready men to fight the Russians/Bolsheviks in Crimea/Ukraine?

AHEPA “leaders”, you are the “useful idiots” now and you should be ashamed!!

BELOW enjoy the AHEPA “photo-ops”…  We are hoping not to have to republish these photos when our worst fears materialize…

Παρόντες στην πολύ σημαντική επίσκεψη ήταν ο Ύπατος Πρόεδρος της ΑΗΕΡΑ Jimmy Kokkotas, ο πρώην Ύπατος Πρόεδρος Γιώργος (George) Χωριάτης, ο Γενικός Γραμματέας Association of the US ARMY στην Ελλάδα Ανδρέας Ζαπουνίδης ο Ύπατος Ταμίας Savvas Tsivikos, ο εκτελεστικός διευθυντής Basil Mossaidis, o Πρόεδρος της επιστροπής Εθνικών Θεμάτων AHEPA Zenon Christodoulou ο Ύπατος Κυβερνήτης Ευρώπης Γιάννης Μητρόπουλος o Κωνσταντίνοs Βαρσάμηs Κυβερνήτηs της Περιφέρειας Ελλάδας ΑΗΕΡΑ και ο Χρήστος Καραπιπέρης Αντικυβερνήτης, η κ. 1. Holy cow….is being stupid a prerequisite for working in AHEPA?
Or, is being stupid a prerequisite for working for the deep state, or is it the opposite? 😂

    Hmmmm….

  2. What is AHEPA? What purpose does it serve anymore. If you’ve ever attended a ritualistic ceremony, you have to seriously ask yourself, do they believe in Christ or do they believe in the AHEPA prayers. I’ve seen them actually read the AHEPA prayers over the deceased during an Orthodox funeral. That’s when it really hit me.

Given that, it’s not a surprise that they allow themselves to be used and manipulated by the American war machine (like Bartholomew and Elpi).

The U.S. hasn’t been loyal or committed to Greece since John F. Kennedy and he was assassinated in 1962 – 60 years ago. But they’ve always been loyal to Turkey.

We should be ashamed of the way we stabbed and continue to stab our Orthodox brothers in the back like Serbia and Russia. We destroyed any hope of any relationship.

We should be neutral but we are terrified of the US giving Turkey carte Blanche. The best thing to have done would be to allow Russia to have a naval base and Alexandroupolis. Trust me, the Turks wouldn’t be invading our airspace every day and claiming our islands.
