Σύμφωνα με το περιοδικό Gala, ο Ευάγγελος Μπούσης ασχολήθηκε με το modelling και την υποκριτική, εμφανίστηκε μάλιστα στη θρυλική σειρά «Sex and the City». Μπροστά στην κάμερα φλέρταρε με τη Sarah Jessica Parker και συνόδευε την Kim Katrall σε βραδιές γεμάτες αλκοόλ. O Ευάγγελος Μπούσης και ο Πίτερ Ντούντας επέλεξαν το φετινό καλοκαίρι την Ελλάδα για τη βάφτιση των παιδιών τους, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε το Σάββατο 9 Ιουλίου, στον Ιερό Ναό Παναγίας Φανερωμένης στη Βουλιαγμένη.
Νονές των παιδιών είναι το μοντέλο Μπιάνκα Μπραντολινί και η χρυσή κληρονόμος, Ευγενία Νιάρχου, η οποία διατηρεί στενή φιλία με τους διάσημους σχεδιαστές μόδας. Μάλιστα στο πάρτι της βάφτισης στην Αθηναϊκή Ριβιέρα, επίτιμη καλεσμένη ήταν η Άννα Βίσση, η οποία τραγούδησε τις μεγάλες επιτυχίες της.
Όσον αφορά στη βάφτιση, υπήρξε μια ασάφεια καθώς δεν υπάρχει επίσημη και ξεκάθαρη θέση της Αρχιεπισκοπής Αθηνών και Πάσης Ελλάδος σε σχέση με τις βαπτίσεις παιδιών γκέι ζευγαριών. Ο Αμερικής Ελπιδοφόρος, ένας ιεράρχης υψηλής περιωπής ο οποίος τέλεσε το μυστήριο κατηγορήθηκε ευθέως από τον εν Χριστώ αδελφό του, τον Μητροπολίτη Γλυφάδας, Ελληνικού, Βούλας, Βουλιαγμένης και Βάρης Αντώνιο, ότι «ενήργησεν αυτοβούλως, αυθαιρέτως και αντικανονικώς εντός της Μητροπόλεώς μου».
