Ένας Ινδιάνος, ο Επίσκοπος Άσσου, μιλά περί Ορθοδοξίας και Ελλάδα

Την περασμένη Κυριακή του Ζακχαίου, 22.1.2023, ο Θεοφ. Επίσκοπος Άσσου κ. Τιμόθεος. ένας Ινδιάνος Ορθόδοξος Επίσκοπος, βοηθός του Σεβ. Μητροπολίτου Μεξικού κ. Αθηναγόρου, ευρισκόμενος αυτό τον καιρό στην Ελλάδα, προέστη της Θείας Λειτουργία στον μεγαλοπρεπή Ναό της Θείας Αναλήψεως Νέου Κόσμου, δικαιοδοσίας Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αθηνών, όπου εφημερεύει ο γνωστός και καλλιφωνότατος Αρχιμανδρίτης Νικόδημος Καβαρνός.
Ο Θεοφιλ. Επίσκοπος Άσσου, ομιλώντας απ’ άμβωνος και από καρδίας, σε άπταιστα ελληνικά, εξέφρασε λόγο ειλικρίνειας και αγάπης προς την Ελλάδα και τους Έλληνες, τόπο και ανθρώπους που τον αγκάλιασαν και τον έθρεψαν πνευματικά, δεδομένου ότι ασπάσθηκε την Ορθοδοξία πριν από 23 μόλις χρόνια και ήδη τιμά, με τον λόγο και την πνευματική αρματωσιά του, την κλήση του εις Χριστόν, εις τόπον και τύπον Εκείνου, στις μακρινές και πολυαπαιτητικές χώρες της Βενεζουέλας και της Κολομβίας. Άξιος!!!
