Exactly 19 years ago, on April 24, 2004, the Hellenes of Cyprus rejected loudly with the most recent OXI of all the glorious acts of resistance of the Hellenes throughout the centuries, the treasonous “Annan Plan” that would have turned Cyprus into a province of two powers: Britain and the “collective west” on the one side and Turkey on the other. Papadopoulos rejected all kinds of pressures, including from Colin Powell, then Secretary of State. Colin Powell had called all Cypriot leaders and had convinced most of them, including the leader of the communist party AKEL and the right-wing leader, Nikos Anastasiades, to support this disastrous plan. Tassos Papadopoulos REJECTED all pressures and went straight to the people who said OXI by a huge 76%, a few weeks later!!
The present circumstances are quite similar, and the “God of Greece” (who is always coming to rescue us from all evil) has put at the helm of the Cypriot government another great patriot, Nikos Chistodoulides, who has already rejected the pressure to give up the few missiles (of Russian origins) protecting the island. With his rejection, Christodoulides forced Greek PM Mitsotakis to take a similar stance and NOT demilitarize the Greek Islands in favor of the corrupt Ukrainian puppets and their even more corrupt Western globalist puppet masters.
Hellenism should be ready for another great “NO” now, as these Western puppet masters are prepared to give Turkey anything she would ask to attract her back to the Western camp, and they expect Greece to give up its sovereign rights. They allow Turkey to threaten Greece with war (“casus belli”)!! They think it’s OK for Greece to be the only country on Earth with a 6-mile territorial water zone instead of 12 miles as all sea-bordering countries have, AND AS INTERNATIONAL LAW OF THE SEA PRESCRIBES…

I received an internationally recognized state. I will not hand over a “community” without the right to speak internationally and in search of a guardian. And all this against empty, misleading expectations. Against the groundless illusion that Turkey will keep its commitments.
My dear compatriots…
On April 24th, you will be placed in front of a “YES” or a “NO” in the “Annan Plan”. You will decide on the present and the future of Cyprus. For our generation, but also the generations that will come after us.
I trust your judgment.
I am sure false dilemmas do not touch you, that you are not intimidated by threats of alleged international isolation. That you are not convinced by the so-called last chance.
I am sure that you will adhere to the moral principles and values of our people, culture, and national history, which guide us to continue with security, justice, freedom and peace, still have meaning for you.
Greek Cypriot people…
On the weighting scale of “YES” and “NO”, the consequences of “YES” will be much heavier and much more onerous.
I call on you to reject the Annan Plan.
I invite you to say a firm “NO” on April 24!
I call on you to defend your justice, your dignity, and your history…”

ΔΙΑΓΓΕΛΜΑ ΤΑΣΣΟΥ ΠΑΠΑΔΟΠΟΥΛΟΥ 7 ΑΠΡΙΛΙΟΥ 2004
Παρέλαβα κράτος διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο. Δεν θα παραδώσω «κοινότητα» χωρίς δικαίωμα λόγου διεθνώς και σε αναζήτηση κηδεμόνα. Και όλα αυτά έναντι κενών, παραπλανητικών, δήθεν, προσδοκιών. Έναντι της ανεδαφικής ψευδαίσθησης ότι η Τουρκία θα τηρήσει τις δεσμεύσεις της.
Συμπατριώτισσες, συμπατριώτες…
Στις 24 Απριλίου θα τοποθετηθείτε με ένα «ΝΑΙ» ή ένα «ΟΧΙ» στο «Σχέδιο Ανάν». Θα αποφασίσετε για το παρόν και το μέλλον της Κύπρου. Για τη γενιά μας, αλλά και τις γενιές που θα έρθουν μετά από εμάς.
Έχω εμπιστοσύνη στην κρίση σας.
Είμαι βέβαιος ότι δεν σας αγγίζουν ψεύτικα διλήμματα. Ότι δεν σας τρομάζουν απειλές για δήθεν διεθνή απομόνωση. Ότι δεν σας πείθουν τα περί δήθεν τελευταίας ευκαιρίας.
Είμαι βέβαιος ότι εξακολουθούν να έχουν για σας νόημα οι ηθικές αρχές και αξίες του λαού μας, του πολιτισμού και του εθνικού ιστορικού μας βίου, τον οποίο θέλετε να συνεχίσουμε με ασφάλεια, δικαιοσύνη, ελευθερία και ειρήνη.
Ελληνικέ κυπριακέ λαέ…
Στη ζυγαριά του «ΝΑΙ» και του «ΟΧΙ», πολύ βαρύτερες και πολύ πιο επαχθείς θα είναι οι συνέπειες του «ΝΑΙ».
Σε καλώ να απορρίψεις το «Σχέδιο Ανάν».
Σε καλώ να πεις στις 24 του Απρίλη ένα δυνατό «ΟΧΙ»!
Σε καλώ να υπερασπιστείς το δίκαιο, την αξιοπρέπεια και την ιστορία σου…”
