For weeks and months, the whole DC establishment was praying – and working – behind the scenes for Erdogan to lose in the elections. They were hoping that Turkey would change course without him at the helm. Even though this is a debatable proposition, considering that Erdogan has replaced the Turkish “deep state” with his own trusted friends, they had good reason to hope: Erdogan has lost any trust in DC actors since they organized a coup d’etat to overthrow him in 2016 – when Putin saved his life and his regime. And so the DC deep state viewed the Turkish-Russian ties as a result of the 2016 soup.
But Erdogan won the elections, and now the same DC actors are back in their old game: they value Turkey more than they can admit and are ready to give her anything to keep her in the NATO camp.
This was clear after the congratulatory call between Biden and Erdogan (please see the news below), with Biden opening his senile mouth and spitting out the whole truth for all to hear: There are no conditions for giving the F-16s to Turkey!!!
Well, this poses some serious questions for some in the “Greek Lobby,” mainly supporters of the Democrats, who for years were accusing President Trump of being pro-Turkish without providing any proof. Now they have the proof in front of their eyes, yet they refuse to admit that Biden is truly giving “all he has got” to Erdogan…
It would help if all realized that as long as the “Deep State” has the upper hand in DC, it does not make much of a difference who the president is. But the “Greek Lobbyists'” expectations that “Biden-opoulos” (who was the one who eagerly supported the gas pipeline from Eastern Mediterranean through Turkey) will do anything but support Turkey is truly laughable…
For now anything that is given to Turkey has to have approval from Congress and so far, Senator Menendez is still opposed – according to the most recent report from Politico just a few hours ago…

Press Briefing by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre
MAY 30, 2023
MS. JEAN-PIERRE: So, two things I can say. As you know, the President — we read out the President’s conversation with Erdoğan yesterday. They had a — clearly, a conversation.
But in that — in that — in that dialogue, the President did express his strong desire for Turkey to approve Sweden application to join NATO, which would — which — which we would like to happen as soon as possible so that — he did bring that up in a — in that conversation.
I’m not going to get ahead of what is going to be on the agenda, what’s going to come out of the Denmark visit that’s going to happen a week from this past Monday.
Look, when it comes to, you know, any conditions, as it relates to F-16s — the sales of F-16s to Turkey and — as with them approving Sweden’s bid to join NATO — look, that is not — that is not — that is not a condition. President Biden — long been clear that he supports selling F-16s — you’ve heard that from this podium — to Turkey, which would help facilitate NATO interoperability.
So, look, Congress has an important role in providing arm sales. And so, I would leave the rest to Congress.
But the President has been very clear where he stands in that — on that.
Readout of President Biden’s Call with President Erdogan of Türkiye

Biden congratulates Erdogan, talks F-16s and Sweden’s NATO bid
The US president says he expects more discussions next week after a call to his Turkish counterpart, congratulating him on his re-election.
US President Joe Biden has congratulated his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on his re-election as the two leaders also discussed issues like Turkey buying F-16 fighter jets and Sweden joining NATO.
In Monday’s phone exchange, Erdogan repeated Ankara’s desire to buy the US-made aircraft, while Biden told him Washington wanted Ankara to drop its objection to Sweden becoming a member of the transatlantic military alliance, according to the president of the United States.
“I spoke to Erdogan. I congratulated Erdogan. He still wants to work on something on the F-16s. I told him we wanted a deal with Sweden, so let’s get that done. And so we’ll be back in touch with one another,” Biden told reporters at the White House.
Asked if he expected any movement from Erdogan on Sweden’s NATO membership, Biden said: “I raised that issue with him. We’re going to talk more about it next week.”
Sweden and Finland applied for NATO membership last year, abandoning long-held policies of military non-alignment following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Bids for membership must be approved by all NATO members. Finland joined the US-led alliance last month, but Sweden’s membership has been held up by objections from Turkey and Hungary. Turkey says Stockholm harbours members of armed groups it considers to be “terrorists”.
Meanwhile, Turkey has sought to buy $20bn worth of F-16s and nearly 80 modernisation kits from the US.
But the sale has been stalled due to objections from US Congress over Ankara’s refusal to green light to NATO enlargement, its human rights record and Syria policy – even though the Biden administration has repeatedly said it supports the sale.
A much smaller $259m package including avionics software upgrades for Turkey’s current fleet of F-16 fighter aircraft was cleared by US Congress earlier this year, days after Turkey ratified Finland’s NATO accession.
The Biden administration has repeatedly rejected any assertion of any “quid pro quo” between the sale and the NATO enlargement, although Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in January said the US side made it clear that approval of NATO bids would be viewed positively by Congress.
Seeing Sweden join NATO by mid-July when the alliance is due to hold a leaders’ summit in Lithuania is believed to be among the top priorities for Washington.
Erdogan on Sunday won a run-off against main opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu, extending his 20-year rule into a presidential third term.

Proverbs 12:7
The wicked are overthrown: Having no root in righteousness, the wicked cannot and will not stand. They will one day be overthrown and simply perish
Donald Trump was the candidate for Greece and Cyprus. Trump is an America firster and against empire. Historically, anti Russia policies of the west going back to the British and the French in the nineteenth century.
The anti Russia hysteria revived the traditional pro Turkish foreign policy that western empires
Pursue.
In 2015, Turkey shot down a Russian plane over Syria. Who knows what might have happened if the non interventionist and Russia friendly Trump had been in office.
As for the Democrats, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama stabbed Greece and Cyprus in the back. Not a surprise that Biden a typical pro war politician has embraced Turkey.
When will Greeks Learn?
Theres good news and bad newes for Greece !… First the good news…they are not selling the F-35’s that Greece was required to purchase , because Mistotakis and Greece have no sovereignty to do anything the U.S, EU and Nato Reich don’t want them to do …because they will be sanctioned if they tried to buy the superior S-57 from Russia, or the S-400 ! The Bad News is the S-400 Anti -Missiler system from Russia which Turkey refuses to surrender because The Patriot U.S anti-missle system has already been proven to be a bust in Ukraine and just about eliminaterd by the Russians ! and more importantly, as U.S officials admitted the F-35 jets that Greece is getting , which have never really been used much , but considered a lemon , is completely vulnerable to the S-400, and why they sanctioned Turkey ..since it was serious threat to what Greece would use in a war with Turkey! Additionally, it is reported that 85 million dollars of spare parts for the F-35 are missing by Lockheed Martin as of May 30,2023….Not a good start for Mistotakis!
Finally , the other bad news..is while one would wonder why Edrogan did not buy the SU- 35 or 57 like india and a whole host of countries when deprived by the U.S…who always make sure that nothing can threaten Israel ..there only concern, because you guessed it …there manufacturing their own version of the F-35 due within one year ..or so reported !
So while Greece ..is now considered the 52nd state of U.S. and Israel…and an ever expanding U.S base , even with rumors of possibly allowing U.S nuclear warheads be stored …the people of Greece based on inevitable Nuclear war with Russia ..should sleep very well knowing that there is a much better chance they will die from a Nuclear Strike on Nato Greece hosting a U.S naval and militray bases …than die at the Hands of the Turks….
The US / EU wanted a candidate pro-western, anti-Russian, for sanctions against Russia, and pro-NATO – all which Kemal Kilicdaroglu offered.
So, for now, so-called democracy prevails. All important, western “leaders” such as President Biden and Madame von der Leyen, non-elected President of the European Commission, congratulated Erdogan for his “win”.
What a band of hypocrites!
So much for the Biden-Karloutsos love affair. Disgraceful.
