Every time I listen to Met. of Mesogaias Nikolaos, I remember my mother’s words when she first heard him talk on the radio some 20 years ago: “God, please give me years to be able to listen to this Holy Man!!” This video is very special as it approaches an issue that has turned our Church upside down over the last few years… It would be impossible for me to summarize the depth of his responses in a few sentences – please listen to him. You will regain a sense of approaching Christ, a sense that we have largely lost in this Church…
As for me, I will forever mention that I always thought that this Holy Man was probably the only acceptable non-American born to be the Archbishop of this Church (please see his short bio). I presented and proposed him several times – starting from before Elpidoktonos’ fateful election.
