EDITOR’S NOTE. The Sretensky Monastery is a seven-century-old monastery in Moscow, which was mostly dismantled by the Soviets and was rebuilt in the last ten years as Russia, under the leadership of President Putin, turned back to its Orthodox cultural roots (here is some info about the monastery). Their choir is among the best (link here) and it is not limited to religious music. In a few words, they represent the cultural revival of modern Russia, the revival that is a thorn in the eye of the globalists. A people whose culture includes Orthodoxy, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Chaikovsky, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and other giants, cannot be classified by the half-educated war-mongers of the combined West as “a gas station masquerading as a country”, according to the infamous statement by the late senator John McCain. Russia was (since its baptism to Orthodoxy by the Byzantine Princess Anna Porfyrogennita around 988 AD- in Kiev of all places, that is somehow now considered “Ukrainian”), a profoundly European culture.
