Metropolitan of Piraeus Seraphim, Welcomed To Athos After the Rejection of Elpidophoros!

Vatopedi Monastery welcomed Met. Seraphim of Piraeus, while they recently rejected AB Elpidophoros.  The issue, without question, is the “Big, Fat, Greek, Gay Baptism.”  The two hierarchs, although friends, according to Seraphim, stood on opposite sides of this issue.  AB Elpidophoros is – all but officially – declared a heretic by Athos…

The Metropolitan of Piraeus Serafim started a visit to Mt.Athos yesterday, September 11, and was welcomed with open arms by the Abbot of Vatopedi Monastery, Fr. Efraim.  The report at romfea.gr (link here), with plenty of spectacular photos and video, leaves no room for doubt: Mount Athos welcomes those who adhere to the Orthodox faith and traditions with open arms.  Met. Serafim, an outspoken hierarch regarding faith issues, allowed the Vatopedi monastery to emphasize its loyalties to those on the right side of Orthodoxy (and history)!!

The contrast with the rejection a few months ago of AB Elpidophoros’ request to visit is very telling.  Athos and Vatopedi said NO to Elpidohporos. No explanation is needed about the reason: it had to do with Elpidophoros’ choice last summer to bless “gay marriage through baptism” in Athens, Greece.

This heresy by AB Elpidophoros gave Met. Seraphim the opportunity to issue a fierce rejection of Elpidophoros, just days after the “Big, Fat, Greek, Gay Baptism”, on July 13, 2022.  Met.Seraphim, presents all the arguments against it and closes with an awe-inspiring statement:

“Consequently, this particular Hierarch, for obvious reasons of publicity or others that we do not know, preferred the “modern gospel” of the serpent to the teachings of the Church and is now under the auspices of the Holy and God-bearing Fathers and the Canonical provision of the Canonical Judicial bodies of the Ecumenical Septuagint of Patriarchate. Personally, and because I am connected with him by friendship, I publicly call on him to restore the spiritual damage done, seeking the forgiveness of the Holy Lord of the Church and the Ecclesiastical Body.” (Below you will have a report and the full text of his speech in July 2022 in Greek and in English).

Today, more than a year later, Elpidophoros’s huge mistake comes back again and again to haunt him… In Orthodoxy, there is always salvation; it’s called repentance.  But the Phanariot Elpidophoros is given to “hubris” and cannot recognize his sins…

«Κεραυνοί» από τον Πειραιώς Σεραφείμ κατά του Ελπιδοφόρου για τα gay βαφτίσια

Ιερός πόλεμος έχει ξεσπάσει στους κόλπους της Εκκλησίας μετά την κοσμική βάφτιση των δύο παιδιών του Ελληνοαμερικανού επιχειρηματία Ευάγγελου Μπούση και του συντρόφου του Peter Dundas, την οποία τέλεσε ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος Αμερικής Ελπιδοφόρος, στον Ναό της Παναγίας Φανερωμένης στη Βουλιαγμένη.

Η βάπτιση των δύο παιδιών του ομοφυλόφιλου ζευγαριού έχει προκαλέσει αντιδράσεις στους ιερείς, με τον μητροπολίτη Γλυφάδας – Ελληνικού – Βούλας – Βουλιαγμένης και Βάρης να καταγγέλλει ότι ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος Αμερικής δεν τον ενημέρωσε ποτέ ότι οι γονείς των νεοφώτιστων είναι gay.

«Ο Σεβασμιώτατος Αρχιεπίσκοπος Αμερικής κ. Ελπιδοφόρος και το “νέον ευαγγέλιον”»

Έχομεν τονίσει σε πάμπολλες παρεμβάσεις μας ότι η Εκκλησία, το Σώμα του Χριστού κατά τόν ουρανοβάμονα Απόστολο Παύλο (Εφεσ.1,23) είναι η χώρα των μεταποιουμένων αμαρτωλών και ο αποκαλυφθείς Θεός Λόγος διεκήρυξε «οὐκ ἦλθον καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλά ἁμαρτωλούς εἰς μετάνοιαν»( Μαρκ.2,17). Είναι δε πολυσήμαντος η διακήρυξις του ιδίου Αποστόλου των Εθνών (Α΄Τιμ.1,15-16) που διεξεδίκησε ένα και μόνον πρωτείον, αυτό του πρώτου των αμαρτωλών. Διά αυτό και η Εκκλησία του Χριστού περιέβαλε πάντοτε με άπειρη αγάπη τον πεπτωκότα άνθρωπο, διότι δεν υπάρχει αμαρτία και κακούργημα που να μην θεραπεύεται και αποκαθίσταται από την απερινόητη μακροθυμία και στοργή του Παναγίου Δημιουργού της ζωής και του ανθρώπου.

Η αντίθεσις του Ευαγγελικού μηνύματος, του κηρύγματος των Θεοφόρων Αποστόλων και των Θείων και Ιερών Κανόνων των Αγίων Θεοφόρων Πατέρων, δεν αφορά εις τα πρόσωπα των ατυχών θυμάτων του αρχεκάκου όφεως, αλλά εις την δυσώνυμον αμαρτίαν, που χωρίζει από του Παναγίου Θεού και που χωματοποιεί τον άνθρωπον και τον αποστερεί από την προοπτικήν της αλληλοπεριχωρήσεως μετά του Παναχράντου Προσώπου Του Κυρίου της δόξης και της εγχρίστωσης και ενθέωσης. Κατά ταύτα, η αγάπη και η επιείκεια προς τον αμαρτωλό είναι η έμπονος πράξις και εντολή του Σωτήρος, που εκφράζεται δι’ όλης της επί γης παρουσίας Του και με συγκινητικόν τρόπον με τις παραβολέςτου απολωλότος προβάτου και της απολεσθείσης δραχμής (Λουκ.15,3-10) και η καταδίκη της αμαρτίας ως γενεσιουργού αιτίαςτης ασθενείας και του θανάτου (Ιω.5,14).

Όλα τα ανωτέρω τα αναφέρομεν δια την απαράδεκτον, και ως προκύπτει εκ της εγγράφου και πεπαρρησιασμένης αναφοράς προς την Ιεράν Σύνοδον, του Σεβ. Μητροπολ. Γλυφάδος, κ. Αντωνίου, ενέργειαν του Σεβασμιωτάτου Αρχιεπισκόπου Αμερικής, κ. Ελπιδοφόρου, να τελέσει μετά πομπής και ιδιαιτάτης δημοσιότητος το μυστήριο της βαπτίσεως δύο παίδων, που έχουν «τεκνοθετηθεί» από ένα «ζεύγος» ομοφυλοφίλων. Ασφαλώς η βάπτισις και η δι’ αυτής πολιτογράφησις εις την Βασιλεία του Θεού κάθε ανθρωπίνου προσώπου είναι έργον χάριτος και ευλογίας και υπακούει εις την εντολήν του ενανθρωπήσαντος Κυρίου «πορεύθεντες μαθητεύσατε πάντα τά ἔθνη βαπτίζοντες αὐτούς»(Ματθ.28,19-20).

Η μετά πομπής, όμως,επιτέλεσις του μυστηρίου της βαπτίσεως δύο ατυχών παίδων που – ένεκεν της τραγικότητος της εποχής μας, η οποία έχει θεσμοθετήσει την ανατροπή της ανθρωπίνης οντολογίας και φυσιολογίας, ως δήθεν ανθρωπίνου δικαιώματος, την στιγμή κατά την οποίαν ουδεμία σχέση έχει με την ανθρώπινη φύση, αλλά αποτελεί μία ψυχοπαθολογική εκτροπή που ευτελίζει το ανθρώπινο πρόσωπο και χωματοποιεί την ψυχήν του και πραγματώνει τον ορισμό του μεγάλου Ιταλού Εγκληματολόγου Cesare Lombroso ότι «ο αρρενοθήλυς δεν έχει ουδεμίαν ηθικήν αναστολήν και ουδέν μεταφυσικόν ιδεώδες» – βρίσκονται με αποκλειστική ευθύνη της Πολιτείας που «νομοθέτησε» σχετικώς, εις την δίνην των δύο ομοφυλοφίλων δήθεν γονέων, με αποτέλεσμα να στερηθούν το ζωοποιό χάδι της μητέρας και την στιβαρά προσωπικότητα του πατέρα, να στερηθούν δηλαδή τα πρότυπα της ζωής, γίνεται το εφαλτήριον δια την Εκκλησιαστικήν αμνήστευσιν του Εκκλησιαστικού κακουργήματος του σοδομισμού, που αποτελεί θανάσιμον αμάρτημα που αποστερεί της κοινωνίας με τον Ζώντα Θεόν και οδηγεί αναπόδραστα το ατυχές θύμα του εις την αιώνιαν απώλειαν.

Επομένως, η συγκεκριμένη ιερατική πράξις του Σεβασμιωτάτου Αρχιεπισκόπου Αμερικής κ. Ελπιδοφόρου και η ουσιαστική επιβράβευσις των αμεταμελήτων σοδομιτών και η προβολή αυτών εν μέση Εκκλησία, ως δήθεν «θεοσεβών προσώπων», που βαπτίζουν ορθοδόξως τα τέκνα τους, και η κατά συνέπειαν αμνήστευσις του θανασίμου κακουργήματος του σοδομισμού και της ανατροπής της ανθρωπίνης οντολογίας και φυσιολογίας, προσβάλλει ευθέως την ανθρωπολογίαν και την σωτηριολογίαν της Μιάς Αγίας Καθολικής και Αποστολικής Εκκλησίας και οδηγεί τον συγκεκριμένον Ιεράρχην υπόδικον ενώπιον των Ιερών Κανόνων και του Κυρίου της Εκκλησίας, διότι διά της εμπράκτου «διδαχής»του ακύρωσε το σχετικό σωτηριώδες ένταλμα της Αγίας Γραφής (Λευιτ.18,22, Γένεσ.19,24, Ρωμ. 1,27-28).

Συνεπώς, ο συγκεκριμένος Ιεράρχης διά προφανείς λόγους δημοσιότητος ή και άλλους που δεν γνωρίζομεν, προτίμησε της διδαχής της Εκκλησίας το «σύγχρονον ευαγγέλιον» του όφεως και ευρίσκεται πλέον υπό τας αράς των Αγίων και Θεοφόρων Πατέρων και την Κανονικήν πρόβλεψιν των Κανονικών Δικαστικών οργάνων του Σεπτού Οικουμενικού Πατριαρχείου. Προσωπικώς, και επειδή συνδέομαι μετ’ αυτού με φιλίαν, τον καλώ δημοσίως να αποκαταστήσει την γενομένη πνευματικήν ζημίαν εκζητών την συγγνώμην του Παναγίου Κυρίου της Εκκλησίας και του Εκκλησιαστικού Σώματος.

“The Most Reverend Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidophoros and the “new gospel””

We have emphasized in many of our interventions that the Church, the Body of Christ according to the heavenly Apostle Paul (Eph. 1:23) is the land of converted sinners and the revealed God the Word declared “no one came calling the righteous but sinners to repentance” (Mark .2,17). The declaration of the same Apostle of the Nations (1 Tim. 1:15-16) is significant, as he singled out only one prima, that of the first of sinners. This is why the Church of Christ has always surrounded the dying man with infinite love, because there is no sin or crime that cannot be healed and restored by the unfathomable long-suffering and affection of the Holy Creator of life and man.

The opposition of the Gospel message, the preaching of the God-bearing Apostles and the Divine and Sacred Canons of the Holy God-bearing Fathers, does not concern the faces of the unfortunate victims of the archekakus serpent, but the infamous sin, which separates from the Holy God and which soil the man and deprives him of the prospect of sharing with each other after the Eternal Face of the Lord of glory and anointing and deification. Accordingly, love and mercy towards the sinner is the emphatic act and commandment of the Savior, which is expressed throughout His presence on earth and in a touching way with the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin (Luke 15:3- 10) and the condemnation of sin as the generative cause of illness and death (John 5:14).

We mention all of the above because of the inadmissibility, and as it appears from the document and praised report to the Holy Synod, of Rev. Metropolitan Glyfados, Mr. Antonios, action of the Most Reverend Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidophoros, to perform after a procession and special publicity the sacrament of the baptism of two children, who have been “adopted” by a “couple” of homosexuals. Certainly, baptism and the naturalization of every human person into the Kingdom of God is a work of grace and blessing and obeys the commandment of the incarnate Lord “go ye and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them” (Matthew 28:19-20).

The post-procession, however, the performance of the mystery of the baptism of two unfortunate children which is the cause of the tragedy of our time, which has instituted the overthrow of human ontology and physiology, as a supposed human right, at the moment when it has nothing to do with the human nature, but it is a psychopathological deviation that trivializes the human face and dirties his soul and fulfills the definition of the great Italian Criminologist Cesare Lombroso that “the feminized male has no moral restraint and no metaphysical ideal” – they are the sole responsibility of the State which “legislated” in this regard, in the wake of the two allegedly homosexual parents, as a result of which they are deprived of the life-giving caress of the mother and the robust personality of the father, that is, they are deprived of the standards of life, it becomes the springboard for the Church amnesty of the Church crime of sodomism , which is a mortal sin that deprives one of communion with the Living God and inevitably leads its unfortunate victim to eternal perdition.

Therefore, the specific priestly practice of the Reverend Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidophoros and the substantial rewarding of unrepentant sodomites and the promotion of them in the middle of the Church, as supposedly “God-fearing persons”, who orthodoxly baptize their children, and the consequent amnesty of the deadly crime of sodomism and the subversion of human ontology and physiology, directly insults the anthropology and soteriology of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and leads the specific Hierarch to trial before the Holy Canons and the Lord of the Church, because through his practical “teaching” he annulled the relevant saving mandate of the Holy Bible (Leviticus 18,22, Genesis 19,24, Rom. 1,27-28).
