The warning of Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah to Nicosia is neither accidental nor insignificant.

We did not fight against the Turks when they invaded Cyprus in 1974, in an operation planned and executed by the US Secretary of State and the most prominent representative of the Israeli-Zionist lobby in Washington, Cyprus executioner Henry Kissinger. But we are now, it seems, ready to fall in favor of Jewish altars and hearths, ceding Cyprus for Israel to attack against Lebanon and Hezbollah, and receiving the retaliation of Hezbollah and its “Axis of Resistance” allies like a sudden Iran and Yemen.

The little people who rule Cyprus and Greece think that they can do all the dirty things that the Americans and Israelis ask them to do, without suffering any consequences and extracting, in exchange for the transformation of Cyprus and Greece into fifth-class colonies, the right to manage for their own benefit the foreign funds moving through Cyprus or to plunder the Greek economy and society.

But the Cypriot economy is based on tourism and financial services. What will be left of all this if even two rockets fall?

What will it mean for Cyprus – and Greece – to come into conflict with the entire mass of the Arab-Muslim world, hundreds of millions of people, on whose alliance they relied after all to face Turkey in the past? What will it mean for them, captive to the corruption and subservience of their leaders, to let the self-absorbed Jewish Zionist state drag us into a major regional and possibly nuclear conflict?

The warning of Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah to Nicosia is neither accidental nor insignificant. Nasrallah himself is considered one of the most important figures in the Arab world, while Hezbollah, under his leadership, inflicted the first military defeat in its history on the state of Israel during the 2006 Lebanon War.

Nasrallah would in no way make this public warning to Cyprus if he did not have solid information about the Israeli plans to use the island against Lebanon, and certainly not many will be convinced by what a terrified Christodoulidis shouted in response.

By issuing this historically unprecedented warning, Nasrallah also offers a historic, perhaps the last, chance for Christodoulides to stop a dangerous, extreme adventurist policy of de facto identification with Israel, its genocidal policies and Nazi methods, before it is too late and he returns in the traditional Cypriot and Greek policy of balance in the Middle East.

The issue is huge. It does not concern only the president of Cyprus, nor only Cyprus. It also concerns Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the opposition parties in Cyprus and Greece, it concerns the entire Greek people. Whoever does not react now and immediately, will bear a heavy, historical responsibility for what happens.

One hopes that the Cypriot and Greek governments, the parties of Cyprus and Greece are not mere appendages of the state of Israel and its all-powerful lobbies. One hopes they will keep Hellenism out of the conflict in the Middle East.

Όμως η κυπριακή οικονομία στηρίζεται στον τουρισμό και τις χρηματοπιστωτικές υπηρεσίες. Τι θα απομείνει από όλα αυτά αν πέσουν έστω και δύο ρουκέτες;

Τι θα σημάνει για την Κύπρο -και την Ελλάδα από πίσω- να μπουν σε σύγκρουση με όλο τον όγκο του αραβομουσουλμανικού κόσμου, εκατοντάδες εκατομμύρια ανθρώπους, στη συμμαχία με μέρος του οποίου στηρίχτηκαν άλλωστε για να αντιμετωπίσουν στο παρελθόν την Τουρκία; Τι θα σημαίνει να αφήσουν, δέσμιοι της διαφθοράς και της υποτέλειας των ηγετών τους, το εκτός εαυτού εβραϊκό, σιωνιστικό κράτος να μας παρασύρει σε μια μείζονα περιφερειακή και πιθανώς πυρηνική σύγκρουση;

  1. Israel is known to be an overbearing neighbor. They use their immense financial wealth, from Israel and America, plus America’s military and political muscle to their advantage. They do everything very subtly. They pay off individuals and politicians and use them as pawns for their own benefit. Cyprus, being the closest non-Muslim, EU nation is a stepping stone to the wider world that they can not ignore. Israel certainly throws her weight around. When 12 Israelis were accused of raping a British tourist a few years back, they were let go, without charges and wound up charging the British tourist instead. Cyprus needs to be careful, or she will be swamped by Israel. I wouldn’t say its exaggeration if we say that Cyprus is in risk of being an Israeli colony.

Having said that, neither Cyprus nor Greece should go back to the pre-1990 politics of being pro-Arab. Its obvious things have changed. All the major Arab nations, even including Saudi Arabia are normalizing their relations with Israel. When Gaza goes back to being an open air prison, as before, with Hamas weakened, then, the Middle East will revert to being as before October 7th.

I would think that Nasralah is confused, as to the British bases on the island and Cyprus’ inability to over rule what the British do. We know that the British have been supporting Israel’s war. Bottom line: Cyprus can only guard her territory, from being used as a base. The rest is not up to her

    • Greece and Cyprus should be more balanced. They are not. So they risk being on the losing side of things. When will this may come? When (likely) Hezbollah beats Israel for the second time since 2006. If Iran and Russia are involved then Turkey will find the opportunity to get involved also… if the Arabs the Iranians and the Turks are involved in the same side we risk losing the rest of Cyprus. But today we saw the news that the US is sending aircraft carrier Eisenhower near Cyprus. The most likely disaster is that it will be hit with Hezbollah missiles. The Huthis already hit it with other missiles. If this happen you can kiss US hegemony and US dollar goodbye. God help all of us!

      • Nick Your concern about Cyprus is legitimate. However, I wouldn’t be overly concerned with the Eisenhower being hit with Hezbolah missiles. These ships have defenses to take care of such threats. And even if it is hit, US hegemony and the strength of the dollar won’t be affected. America and the West are not as vulnerable as you portrait it. And I have to correct you. Hezbolah never beat Israel. If they had, Israel would have ceased to exist. They didn’t even take the Golan heights or any territory from Israel. How is a country beaten if they lose nothing? Israel did its business in Lebanon, they have pacified Northern Israel up until now and they are biding their time, to attack and do to Hezbolah what they’re doing to Hammas. I would never bet against Israel. I know I would lose.

        • Go back and read about the 2006 war about Israel and Hezbollah and you will know why Israel was badly beaten. Then Hezbollah had a fraction of the power it now has… Now they have tens or hundreds of thousands of missiles hidden in mount Lebanon… And they also have 100.000 of well trained and equipped troops. The only game that Israel has is to create a regional war against Iran and involve the US in this war. If this happens Russia will surely get involved – they already have S-500 missiles and Air Force in Syria. And if Russia backs Iran (and possibly the Arab States who will take part in this) then Not only USS Eisenhower or any other American warship(s) can be sunk but Turkey will get involved backed by Russia and we will lose the rest of Cyprus… the best scenario for us Greeks is for a two-state solution in Palestine to be accepted and for a multipolar peace to be established internationally. In this case, Turkey will likely – eventually- join the BRICS and exit NATO. In this case Turkey will be forced to abandon northern Cyprus. But if I had to bet any money, given how delusional Bibi Netanyahu and the West’s leadership is, Israel will lose this war and it will be on the road to extinction soon. We will be very lucky to avoid a nuclear war…

          • “n this case, Turkey will likely – eventually- join the BRICS and exit NATO. In this case Turkey will be forced to abandon northern Cyprus! So Nick .. then I can assume this is what you mean’t when you told us that Netanyahue at the U.,N would help Cyprus remove Turkey from Northern Cyprus and reunite Cyprus and of course ..complete the alliance with the Anti Christian, Anti human rights and War Criminals of Israel and America which will be the lifeline for the Greater Jewish and Evangelical Zionist project to spread and control Europe and the Middle East!
So, should we assume that Cyprus will officially join Nato , like they are part of the EU, just like Greece , and officially become the “Floating Aircraft carrier of U.S. U.K and Nato launch point for the Zionist Calfiphate of America , Israel and Nato on Russia , Turkey and the Middle East? To me Nick ..what you descibe is simply a return to a United Cyprus similar to the conditions in place to secure Cyprus false independence in which Turkey , Greece , UK and U.S were guarantors of its sovereignty , except the only difference is that “Israel will replace Turkey the other guarantors! And we all know how that worked out ! And let me get this straight … Turkey is going to surrender Northern Cyprus , and Israel is going to give up the Golan Heights as demanded by U.N resolutions , and U.S is going to remove itself from the Territories of Syria which they illegally are occupying and stealing their oil from .. and get this .. the UK and U.S will close their bases in Cyprus , also as demanded by U.N resolutions.
Nick , apparently , what you suggest that all this time it was U.S , Israel , UK and EU/Nato members who have allowed Nato Turkey to maintain occupation of Cyprus , and at any time they could have forced Turkey to leave Cyprus and fulfill U.N. resolution demands! And tell me . Helleniscope ..and how does this secure the peace and security of the Greek Orthodox Christians of Cyprus or the Turkish Cypriots of Cyprus and an illusionary belief that they are the Sovereign owners of Cyprus! Nick. this is my comment , and its ask legitimate question of your analysis ..could you please respond !

          • I have been writing bits and pieces about this for many years. Cyprus would have avoided all the [problems if she was part of NATO since the 1960s. The personal ambitions of AB Makarios prohibited it.
Now it’s a different scenario. Turkey’s leadership has conclusively decided to head eastwards. Erdogan will meet Putin again in Kazakhstan in July 3-4. It all depends on the peaceful achievement of a new multipolar world order. If the transition is peaceful than Israel and Cyprus and Greece will be part of the Western Pole. In this case there is a good chance for Turkey to be forced to leave northern Cyprus and Cyprus to join NATO.More when I find time to write up the whole scenario…

  2. I just read an 2023 article from Reuters which stated that than 500,000 Jewish people visited in 2023. Cyprus is a 40 minute plane ride from Israel. What does this tell us?

      • Israelis love to own property. But, I’m puzzled. No one is allowed to cross into Northern Cyprus from the free area. Are there direct flights from Israel to the North?. There should not be. And how would purchase of real estate be possible, if Israel does not recognize the North?

          • In response to your reply to me , i
First Nick .. Cyprus has always been part of Nato ..for God’s Sake…the entire protection racket of Cyprus was run by Nato U.K, Greece , Turkey and U.S. , , and guess what.. and that is why Nato Turkey invaded Northern Cyprus And most of Greece and their leaders have always been rushing not to get into Nato , but leave them ,because they knew that they would be forced to be third party participants in all the US led Nato wars and policies that Mistotakis has so glamorously demonstrated in war with Russia! Addtionally, you suggest that we will have another “Yalta summit” by who and what” And that some foreign countries are going to decide whether Cyprus will be on Team Anti Christ of America , Israel and EU/ Nato or Team Anti U.S Nato Russia , Turkey , Iran , Syria, Iraq, China, and the Bric block! i mean Nick ..why doesn’t Cyprus just join the Bric Block rather than the Nato Block.. I mean .. imagine that Russian Bases in Cyprus would be more than enough to please Bric Turkey entry, that Cyprus reunified would not continue to be used by Nato threaten Turkey or anybody in the Bric countries ! Imagine that .. why would Cyprus join Nato ? Imagine the markets Cyprus could access in the Middle East , Russia , China all part of the Brics, which even now . they are not allowed to do .. in the EU/Nato Block! And Nick.. does this mean , that the U.S and Nato bases of Eastern Europe will be forced to be removed? So Nick final question to you you actually believe this is an acceptable scenario ,or are you just speculating that this is a Scenario that might happen! In my opinon .. this would be the end of Greece and Cyprus politically, culturally, Economically, and most importantly ,the extinction of the Religious freedom of the Orthodox faith in Cyprus as it is in Greece! Really , Nick .. you just wrote an article who is dictating the religious beliefs of the Orthodox Churches of Europe and Greece .. EU/Nato, who are also making the cultures of Greece and Europe extinct to usher in their Global Culture! let me know ..Nick!

          • As I said, many tragic mistakes have happened around Cyprus – that’s why we call its history, “the history of lost opportunities”… I will fully analyze soon..

  3. At this dangerous time the governments of Greece and Cyprus must not be diplomatically isolated. As Helleniscope itself previously stated on various occasions, there were decisions made in the past that would appear to preclude a close relationship with today’s Russia. Those decisions ranged from the brief 1919 deployment of Greek troops in the Russian Civil War, to over 70 years of Greek participation in the NATO alliance, including some support for Ukraine in its war against Russia.

With that being the case, Russia is lost as a potential ally at this time. Greece must therefore work to keep good relations with the US. If, as seems likely, the US-backed Ukraine government clearly loses to Russia in the future, Greece could even work to help mediate a NATO surrender to Russia (although it would not be called that).

Will the longstanding US closeness with Turkey undercut hopes for good support from the US of Greek-related concerns? Probably not, as Turkey is clearly moving away from the US due to its desire to appose Israel. Perhaps this is the golden opportunity Greece has always wanted, to be more important to the US than Turkey.

This opportunity must not be lost because of any childish resentment over Israel or over the foibles of the current governments in Athens or Nicosia.
