I want to bring to your attention a new organization that I believe our community should support.
The Chant Stand — a Greek Orthodox nonprofit focused on preserving the art of Byzantine Chant — is bringing the Young Aspiring Chanters (YAC) Conference to Dallas, Texas, this October. This weekend is dedicated to educating the next generation of young Orthodox Christians in this liturgical art form.
For generations, Byzantine Chant has been the voice of the Church at prayer — and today, young men and women across the country are rediscovering it and stepping up to the analogion for the first time. The Chant Stand exists to make sure that continues.
From Oct. 23-25, young Orthodox Christians ages 18–35 will gather at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas to study under respected Protopsaltes and chant the Divine Liturgy together. The weekend closes with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Sunday, October 25, celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Constantine of Denver.
This is the second major event by the Chant Stand – the first “Seminar of Byzantine Chanting” took place Last March at St. Mark’s in Boca Raton.

At the Annual Prayer Event for Israel, unfortunately those Christians will most likely be praying for the safety of The State of Israel and not The Christian Church, which has been referred to as “The New Israel” for thousands of years!

A Tragedy in Plain Sight
Taking part in the 70 million Christians prayer event for Israel is like when Colombian soccer player Andrés Escobar scored on his own team during the 1994 FIFA against the USA.
Not long after … Escobar was murdered for scoring on his own team.
Are the Christians praying for peace in the land for both Jews and Gentiles?
Aside from the collateral damage brought on by the IDF “accidentally killing” Christians in this war, will the Christian’s prayers include God’s protection for the IDF?
Imagine if millions of Orthodox Christians prayed for Zionists or another group, to win a battle against the Orthodox Church.
These people who support Israel and identify as Evangelicals will soon be taking part in the Annual Prayer Event for Israel.
Many of those Evangelicals who support Israel and the building of The Second Temple know full well what they are doing.
They are so deluded that in their own pride and hubris, some of these Xtians have knowingly chosen to side with the church of the Antichrist because in so doing they believe this will accelerate the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
And instead of choosing to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ through the Orthodox Church … these Evangelicals choose the Antichrist.
The Apostle Paul concludes in Romans 11:29 that “the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable,” affirming that the Jewish people remain beloved by God because of the patriarchs. Ergo– I’d rather see interfaith dialogue between Orthodox Christians and Jews than with Episcopalians and that nonsense.
Modern day Rabbinical Jews have a different god from Orthodox Christians.
