Mount Athos, the Church of Greece, most other Orthodox Churches, and even many Catholic Hierarchs all over the Globe have rejected the Pope’s recent “Blessing of Gay Couples,” which, in essence, is a blessing of what Christianity considers a sin. Many Catholics are suggesting that the last remaining “Stronghold of Faith” for Christianity is Eastern Orthodoxy. Yet Patriarch Bartholomew and AB Elpidophoros, instead of re-affirming the Faith and inviting Catholics and all other Christian denominations to Orthodoxy, stay silent. The faithful demand that they take a stand right now! NOW IS THE TIME TO RE-AFFIRM THE FAITH!
To take this stand and promote these basic tenets of the Faith, they should:
- Chastise the pro-LGBTQ positions of the Fordam “Theologians” (yes, the quotation marks are appropriate – they are activists and not theologians), George Demacopulos, and Aristotle Papanicolaou. Their teachings have no connection to Orthodox faith and tradition. They tried to provide biblical quotations, and they failed miserably! The vast majority of the Faithful reject their teachings! Demacopoulos and Papanicolaou should join another denomination – Orthodoxy is NOT for them!
- They have to reject any plans to promote the teaching of LGBTQ-friendly ministries in HCHC. They accepted a sizable grant by the known homosexual and promoter of LGBTQ identity, Michael Huffington (a VERY, VERY close friend of Karloutsos – you don’t get much closer than this). If there is a term in the grant for any promotion of LGBTQ ideology in the Orthodox Church, they should return the Grant immediately. I can bet that if they do so, the Orthodox faithful in America will have a fundraiser and collect the same amount in less than a month!! Millions of faithful are worth much more than a few “lost” individuals! Karloutsos should call his friend and tell him we do not need such “gifts”! Our Faith will never be bought or changed with money!
- They should forget any idea of operating LGBTQ ministries in parishes. Suppose they want to operate such a ministry. In that case, it should be apparent from the beginning that all participants are seeking help to reform themselves and get out of their sinful tendencies, attraction to the same sex, etc. If they do not see homosexuality as a sin, they can go to any Protestant Church of their choice and be good Christians there. Orthodoxy will always remain Orthodoxy, and Mt.Athos recently issued the most robust declaration (link here). The Holy Synod of the Church of Greece also (link here).
- The Moscow Patriarchate has already clarified its opposition to the “Blessing of Gay Couples” in many ways. (Please click here to watch this excellent interview with Met. Hilarion by Rod Dreher.) The Russian state has already taken the appropriate measures: on the one side, they emphasize the right of every individual to make as adults their own choices, but at the same time, they will NOT allow a tiny minority to dictate their choices to society – especially in the educational system and more particularly by sexualizing minors. Does the Constantinople Patriarchate want to lose the Greek Church of America to the Moscow Patriarchate? The process has already started, and many thousands of Greek-Americans have joined the Russian Churches or other Orthodox Churches who have re-affirmed the Faith.
- Finally, the establishment has lost the “Globalist Game” worldwide; they have lost their catastrophic wars in Ukraine, Gaza, and now, Yemen – before it even started! It is the “Globalists” who want to impose their sick, degenerate ideology on humanity; it is them who push or even blackmail religious leaders to take a path that their Faith does not allow. The new generation of leaders that will replace the corrupt and degenerate ideologues who are now trying for World Dominance will bring humanity back to the path of sanity, to the path where humans are following the rules of nature. No animal on the planet practices homosexuality, and this is why there is no religion on earth promoting it. In all great religions and all monotheistic religions, there is no such thing as acceptance of homosexuality.
THIS IS A CALL FOR PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW TO COME OUT – AS HE HAD DONE YEARS AGO – AND RE-AFFIRM THE FAITH. IF HE IS NOT WILLING TO TAKE A STAND NOW, THEN HE MUST RESIGN!!

Mesogaias Nikolaos, one of the most enlightened Orthodox leaders globally, affirms the faith and explains to all, especially the youth, the only Orthodox position on the subject! Bart & Elpi only care about themselves (that includes their millions of dollars). They won’t take a stand that would hurt them and obviously taking the right stand would hurt them just like taking the wrong stand would hurt them.
I wonder how they’ll word any announcement to deceive the faithful.
However, what about genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians. And Palestinians include not just Muslims, but also Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant.

If anyone has any doubt that homosexuality is a sin, all one needs to do is read the story from the old testament that talks about Sodom and Gomorrah-and by the way, the word sodomy comes from the name of the city Sodom, why? because sodomy is to commit homosexuality and Sodom was filled with homosexuals. For anyone that hasn’t read it, God basically vaporized these 2 cities with all their inhabitants (except for Lot and his daughters) off the face of the earth because the people of those cities were so corrupted that the men of the city where Lot lived, wanted to commit the act of homosexuality with the 2 angels that visited Lot. It is important to note that the two angels came in the form of men. Lot offered his virgin daughters up for the corrupted men of the city to have so that they may leave the two angels alone but the men of the city refused and wanted the angels instead. It says they nearly broke the door of Lot’s house trying to get at these two angels that were in the form of two men. What does that tell us? It tells us that the city was filled with not only debauched people but specifically HOMOSEXUALS-men wanting to go with other men. This specific sin insulted God so much that he utterly destroyed these two cities. God shows us that this is not only a sin but one can even infer that it is a sin considered by God more serious than others because of the action he took against those two cities. However this is not to say that God does not forgive when we ask for forgiveness-as he forgives every sin-but to say it is not a sin is simply lying. If you don’t want to believe God’s truth it’s your prerogative, but make no mistake it is a sin. Period.

In order to remain in that clique they can’t afford to speak out against Francis and the collective West since that’s who is propping up the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
If they do speak out against it I will be pleasantly surprised, but I’m willing to be a solid $100 that they will not. Or, it’ll be some vague wishy washy statement like what Elpi did at the March for Life

The answer to this question is largely dependent upon whether or not any incriminating pictures, videos, audio, documents, financial records, or witness testimony exist as “leverage”, and who exactly might have that “leverage” in their possession…
