Putin with the excuse to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine ,the mother country of Russia ,invaded it hoping it would surrender in two weeks ,but he was mistaken as the Ukrainians fought against him valiantly.
Putin has a vast nuclear arsenal and the safety and integrity of Russia was secure but his wish to aggrandize himself by reviving the defunct USSR made him invade Ukraine. He is a very dangerous man for Humankind and only if he is eliminated or agrees to peace soon Humankind will be safe sgain.
Leonidas you keep being delusional. Russia’s main naval base for 240 straight years was Sevastopol of Crimea. Would the US leave Norfolk Virginia under foreign control? Then since 2014 Russia kept attacking the Russians of Eastern Ukraine killing them by the thousands. And the last 4-5 years made speaking their native language and their religious affiliation illegal. What would you do if let’s say the Turks made speaking Greek and being a Christian illegal? Would you be part of the Greek revolution of 1821? From what you argue here, you wouldn’t have a problem.
