With two posts full of the “aroma” of Greece on her personal Instagram account, Kimberly Guilfoyle , who has been designated as the next US ambassador to Greece, sent her own message shortly before her arrival in Athens.
The first post, reposted from another profile, is accompanied by the message : “Scientists have discovered that a summer in Greece adds ten years to your life” and depicts an island landscape with white houses and a church.
In the second, also republished, lit candles can be seen in an old stone church and an icon of the Virgin Mary holding the Child.
